My boyfriend and I are going on a trip to celebrate one year together. Zip lining, white water rafting, and staying at a very nice hotel. I can't wait to share those experiences with him.

I'm need help thinking of good gift ideas. He means the world to me but with the vacation expenses I'm left with a strict $200 budget. He's 30 and owns a home improvement business.

Any ideas?

"A strict $200 budget" Frown

Sorry, not helpful, but really...

A nice watch...

is he an athlete or into fitness?  Maybe a GPS or heart rate monitor watch

Something techy....  like a kindle?

In my area $200.00 would get you a nice his and hers massage.

A gift certificate to a swanky golf course (if he plays) along with a guilt free pass to play on the weekend.

He's not athletic or into fitness. He's one of the fortunate ones with a crazy metabolism. He doesn't wear jewelry because of his profession. He's not into sports except bowling and power kiting.

I love the massage idea but that's what I got him for valentines day.

He just started this business but the tools he's said he needs are very expensive. Does a gift card to Sears seem impersonal?

OK, I was staying away from this for fear of being accused of being an old pervert but along hte lines of something you might both enjoy, spend it at Victoria's Secret then gift wrap the boxes, let him open them then you can model them.

If this doesn't work, go with the gift certificate. I'd go with Home Depot though they carry a wider variety of brands and prices are matched for any other retailers (plus a discount I think).

You don't sound like an old perv. That's actually a good idea. I'll go there and check it out. I've never given a guy lingerie for a gift before.
