2 year anniversary..what to make him?
My boyfriend and I's two year anniversary is coming up. He told me he has a few suprises for me and I just can't afford anything right now so I wanted to make him something. I've written him letters, painted him something, made a collage, painted a ceramic piece.. I'm running out of ideas.. :( HELP??!!
He also has a digital picture frame at his office and I have been known to fill him up a new cheap little SD card with some photos that he may or may not have seen, which may run me $15 for a cheap low end card.
I have also taken the time into putting some elbow grease into detailing his car for him, a microfiber cloth and a bucket for the inside, $10 at the car wash to vacuum the inside out and wash the exterior.
Another thing he likes since we are always on the go is for me to take the time to find a good recipe with ingredients that he likes and try it out for dinner.
All are thoughtful gifts. My husband makes a significant amount of money and tends to buy everything he wants anyways.
You could decorate a pretty little box or something similar and inside put 100 bits of paper with 100 reasons why he's awesome
(maybe with a few chocs chucked in? Like those hersheys kisses or something?)
Maybe make some 'naughty' coupons for him... if that's your thing!!... and do him like a little cheque book of vouchers for different 'things' he likes ![]()
Cook him a lovely meal, or bake him a heart shaped cake? Not so tough to make if you cut carefully!
Get a nice photo of you two and frame it like suggested above. You could always try and make a frame somehow? It doesn't need to have a glass front or anything.
I hope you find the inspiration you need :)
Well, when my kids don't have money they make me coupons books for hugs, "fetches", dshwashing etc. You could make up the "adult" version of this.
You could purchase rose petals for $2 - $3 and bubble bath for about the same. Have a few petals leading to and around the tub, and add the rest on top of the bubbles. If you can spare another $10 or so, you can purchase a bottle at your local wine store. Most wine stores where I live have a $10 section that include a few wines which taste great. I recommend a non-commercial $10 bottle from a wine store, rather than Turning Leaf or Beringer.
If you want to bypass the wine and go even cheaper, you could buy grapes for $1 (reduce the weight before purchase). A dollar's worth of grapes should be suffice for your evening.
Rose petals, bubble bath, grapes... total of $5 - $6 dollars.

This!
It's not free, but it can be cheap if you shop at the right places.
My bf always appreciates a romantic dinner made by me ;)
Thank you all for the replies. Sadly he didn't get off work that day like he said he would, so we won't be celebrating after all.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
