I'm a dork, but I'm probably going to spend a good portion of Sunday day-time watching season 4. My brain seems to malfunction frequently, and I need a reminder of where we are before season 5!!

Roxy I know exactly what u mean about catching up on the story!

Cant remember whats the story with Tara though.  Completely forgot that whole situation

Well...either Eric or Bill is going to come racing in the door, and give Tara blood to heal her...I think that's a given, yes? Since Sukie will have gotten their attention with that cry for help?

Oh thats right!!  Didnt she get shot of something like that?

Debbie shot at Sukie, and Tara took the bullet for her, then Sukie shot Debbie. Hence the trailer of her and LaLa digging in the yard, I'm guessing.

GOD I am lost. I really need to catch up!!!!!!!! I don't remember any of that! wtf brain!

I just got done watching the final three of last season. heh.

most likely scenario.

Wow can tbelieve pam did that!!

And Ike Applebaum lmao!!

Loved steve newlin Im a gay vampire american and i love u

LOL I did not see that coming.

Tara is going to be pissed.

Oh man, what a great season opener!

LOL I did not see that coming.

Tara is going to be pissed.

Especially when she realizes that Pam is her maker, lol.

I think given that Tara is missing half her head that when she rises she will have amnesia. I'm betting she won't remember who Sookie or LaLa are.

I am loving Pam lately. First the fairy vagina and then she calls it a super snatch. lol I cracked up. "I'm wearing a Walmart sweatsuit for y'all" haha

Now if only Sookie and Alcide will get together, I want more naked Alcide. And I am so looking forward to seeing Chris Meloni as part of The Authority.

The last couple of weeks have provided some interesting plot twists. Tara and Pam is going to be entertaining.

Yes it will!!!

LaLa is starting to scare me though. And Bill's comment about Jessica's joint not being the good stuff was really funny.

Heh. I thought to myself: Vamps don't eat food or drink liquor...I wonder if they smoke?

i wondered what it did to them, they already have such heightened senses...maybe it makes them feel human again? more numb? hmmm.

I'm bit of True Blood bod, both read the books and watched the series, and some vamps smoke cigars, not because they need the nicotine, just to be social.

One bone to pick with HBO (the people who make the TV series, why don't they stick to the original story, written by Charlaine Harris?  It's not like the books are without action! They are impossible to put down!

yeah I have heard that the show is nothing like the books.

It's actually really annoying because the books are amazing! You really never know what will happen next.

In terms of the characters in the TV series: (I hope I don't spoil anything!)

Bill: Perfect.

Sookie: Exactly what I imagine a homey-southern gal to be like.

Eric: I wish his hair was longer as described in the book.

Tara: In the books, she owns Tara's Togs, a clothes shop on a mall strip owned by Bill, she wasn't feisty and she didn't work behind the bar, nor did a maenad make her do crazy things.

Layfette: they got him spot on, I love his character, so funny, you don't really see a lot of him in the books.

Alcide:  Mama mia. Is all I'm saying.

Debbie: Yep, she's crazy, pretty spot on.

The Hot Shot pack: They are hard working polite individuals in the books, but the TV series have made them out to be weird hill-billies!

Sam: Exactly how the books describe him.

That's all I can think of.

It really frustrates me when they change the characters and story lines for a better audience, but the books offer so much more.  *sigh*
