yes!  but i was only lurking in the threads.  and then realized that everyone knew who you were except me...so i kind of tried to figure it out.

i should have known.

i'll use the excuse that we've been in touch since you left.  yeah.  that's why i didn't know it was you.

*pats kenya*

*dodges headbutt*

I had no idea.

Welcome back, arch nemesis.

Hey there...TV.

I thought that was you.

Happy BC Day long weekend aye.

Heah,PG, here's a toque for you, eh? Enjoy it eh?

Sooooooo, not only am I still in long term care, I just got a temp. full-time gig for a month.

And I'm happy aboot it.

Hope you've had some nice walks along the seawall with the gorgeous weather we've been having.

*does not hug PG, but seriously thinks aboot it*

seawall has been fabulous - no toque necessary :) and the dog finally learned to swim, so it's been a highly beachy summer!

i really want to tell you i'm sorry about the LTC, but that's my hang-up. congratulations ;)

It didn't take me too long to figure out it had to be you.  I love the avatar. When you posted that "yes, I'm a sock puppet" and "I wasn't trying to hide it" I knew for sure.

You have been seriously missed by me. I decided to throw my hat in the ring a few months ago and begin posting again.

Welcome, welcome, welcome back.

Darn you fuzzybutt...

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.
Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.
Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.
Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)
Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've got him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back

How'd you come up with your new name. I like it.

I said the view tried.. I have the internet diode.. to which I have added a snobbery detector..  so I am invincible.  haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Amwick: you aren't the first person to feel that way at first, and then fall for PG. Myself included. Our initial feminist conflict was bad news bears.

I think if you give it some time, you'll see there isn't cruelty in her posting, but there is a good deal of straight talk.

Ahem.  Years even sometimes, plus several double digit page count fights.

But she grows on you.  Like an addiction to horror movies. ;)

Intellectual snobbery is cruel to me...calling me a 4 year old... that was snotty and snarky.. talking about maslows hierchy like I never heard of it??  I call bs..

Turns internet diode sensitiviy up to max.. hits block button.

Truthfully, Wick, her response stems from a passionate belief that none among us deserves to be marginalized because of our addictions, our emotional health or our socio-economic status. She had the exact same argument with Runey, if I remember correctly.

She cares more about advocacy for the poor and disenfranchised than any human I've ever encountered.

Entirely my opinion on the matter, however, so as you will.

I mean, you did say you wanted to put people on a poor farm. or on a "large island.. They get helicoptered in, after that they have to fight eachother for survival."

Really, what did you expect? eta: js.

Not All Processed Foods Are Created Equal
Fact: a diet containing whole, fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the best for a healthy mind and body. Although true, it can be hard to keep food fresh at home for longer periods of time, and if you have no time to shop every few days, boxed and canned foods become appealing. We often hear about heavily processed frozen dinners and processed foods worth avoiding, but there are minimally processed foods that do pack a lot of nutrition and may be worth having in the fridge or cupboard.
