Why are chicken wings so bad and why do I want to want to eat them?
I really am at a lost with these damn wings............ 5 wings, just the meat, equal to 215 cal. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Who eats only 5 wings? Well I do but now I am wondering if I can eat 5 for breakfast 5 for lunch and 5 for supper? That probably would not be good eh?
Who only eats 215 for a meal?
I am reading what I wrote and I am wondering how being cheap in financing has now spilled over into my calories. I am allowed 1600 cal. /day but I don't wanna eat em for some reason.... I am hoarding them when I can't even take them with me the next day.they are there to eat everyday.
K well I eat salad and other things too.....I try to have a variety with every meal.
215 cals doesn't seem bad for five wings. Is that for fried wings? Freaking love those.
i love wings... only the flat ones and without the skin...
so, for the amount of work that it takes to remove all skin for the tiny bit of meat on there... i'd be better off making a chicken breast with franks red hot sauce :D
But, Rox, the hard work of getting the skin off and picking at the meat burns calories....so then I can eat more wings, right?
I used to hate chicken skin, but if it's fried crispy, I'm totally into it now.
Rox, you don't like the drumettes?
i don't either :)
i mean, i'll eat them if the wings are really good, but i definitely choose the flat ones.
Great.
Now I want wings. Which is weird, because I do not want chicken. At all. But wings sound good to me right now.
I'm a walking contradiction.

No ......I bake them on a cooling rack so they don't sit in the grease/fat drippings.I have never been a big fan of frying things.
The problem for me is................ who can eat only 5 frickin wings.? That's what I struggle with. I like em.. I love em... I want some more of em.!!!!
Well, you could have 10 for 430cal. Or 15 for 645 (I think that's not unreasonable for dinner), which still leaves you with 1000 calories for the rest of the day.
Sometimes with making food choices, it's about eating less than you would normally eat. Other times, it's eating the same amount, but less often. You want it every meal, 7 days a week... probably not a good plan. But one meal every few weeks? I can't imagine not being able to fit in my favorite foods every so often. Just not every day.

oh lordy, no!
everyone knows whenever we go out and get wings, i'm only eating the flat ones! LOL
*yay slo!*
I like the flat ones, too, but we'd be good chicken wing partners, 'cause I'll definitely eat the drumettes.

yeah, poor J gets stuck with the drumettes. i don't think he minds much, being less picky than me on the subject.
I hate this thread. Now I want chicken wings like real bad.
I know the cure to that.
Think about crappy wings. Think about that cruddy sports bar that cheats and just gets great big bags of frozen chicken wings from their food purveyor, and microwaves them, so they're soggy and gummy and awful.
Better now?
good plan, meagan. thinking about soggy-skinned wings. or really overcooked, dry wings...
Well....I don't want wings....I don't want much of anything, now, really.......
