The cool thing on your desk right now
I hold in my hot little hand a rock from the Grand Canyon. Tres cool.
What do you have??
I have a clear plastic with fake metal trim mini treasure chest. It used to have Jolly rancher candies in it, which looked like jewels, but I got it when it was empty and I put my business cards in it.
I have a mini pink pig with magnetic hands and feet from a health care provider, so it wears a blue t-shirt with the providers name on it, a picture of my daughter, a stress star (like a ball only in the shape of a star) and a heavy acrylic paperweight with a globe inside that has China facing forward.
The paper weight was designed as an advertisement for a college here in Arizona, but was obviously made in China.
I have the Hope Diamond. I use it as a paper weight.

Haha, oh not the one where you get to watch it with the actual celebrities though =( But it is still cool to watch it 8 hours ahead of the US =]

Yes she will. My family has had so many friends who ended up losing their job/breaking bones/getting freakishly sick shortly after they've taken a stone from our island. Things got better after they shipped it back.
I have lots of knickknacks on or around my drawing table for inspiration, but perhaps the most unique is a 8 inch tall garden gnome with a disapproving look on his face. I call it my "Get to work" gnome. Whenever I start to daydream or procrastinate or start surfing the internet, I look over at my gnome and he's scowling at me as if to say "Get to work, missy!"
Works 28.5% of the time.
Nothing. I like my desk uncluttered.
The coolest thing in one of my drawers is my new pair of pumps.
Take your pick. I've got Adam and Jaime Bobbleheads (birthday gift), a huge Russian stacking doll, a picture of The Man from last year's Burning Man, a sushi stapler, and a bunch of toys some kids left off of the shelves I need to pick up before I leave.
I think my computer is pretty spiffy though
I've got a red bird, with flappy wings, on a stick, attached to my in bin. I call it the Red Bird of Rage.

Umm...I haz things of equal coolness--my autographed Classic Crime CD case, my photo frame that has ticket stubs from my favorite concerts, and my photo frame that has my autographed ticket from a Green Day show and some art done by people at said GreenDay show that is based on various GD album covers.
My red Swingline stapler. But then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much. And I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler.
A bright blue, green and purple 3" dragonfly, which is magnetized and attached to my desk lamp and an ornate bronze file holder.
My laptop. My printer. My pencil container with two highlighters in it.
I am boring.

Though, were I at either my home or work desk..
Home: More than one, but I have about 20 unpackaged my little ponies/pony things >_> I have more, but out of the ones not still in boxes these are the ones I could salvage.
Work: a magnetic duck sitting in a bathtub of paperclips. xD Hehehehe.
