Darkness Falls Across the Land. The Midnight Chat is Close at Hand.
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize your neighborhood
The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom
And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller
Today's Chat will be held at an old abandoned house, once the place where a grisly murder took place 30-some years ago. Oddly enough, this old house is built upon an old Indian Graveyard. Isn't that nifty?
Nothing to worry about, though. :) I mean... what could happen?
Hello, I'm here for a bit
but I may disappear . . . ooooo
Oooo... *scared*
Kristen says I'm not allowed to trick or treat. :( Kristen says I'm finally too old, now that I'm married. :(
Gasp - someones awake besides me??? Had to work a 3:00 shift this morning(grumble grumble). I'm so bored!
Mind if i "lurk" in your chat for a couple of hours?
OMG! I used to stop everything to watch the Thriller video.
Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome, thmheh. :) We're always glad to see new faces. :)
Though I should warn you, the newcomer to the group is usually one of the first ones to be eaten by the zombies.

This is, indeed, one of THE best Halloween songs.
It's too bad Jacko turned so.. Wacko. He was great.. once.
I'm on such a caffeine high, I don't think they could catch me.
You talking about candy corn was driving me crazy. I didn't want to buy a bag because I have no control. Well, last night I went in Giant and they had candy corn in bulk. So I got just a tiny bit. It was enough to satisfy my craving.
Good for you, Kimmie. :D Best way to have a little, but not too much. :D
The worst part.. the WORST part is I've been listening to Disney's Halloween stuff all week.. and I can't get "Grim Grinning Ghosts" OUT OF MY HEAD!

Someone on the radio yesterday said she hates candy corn. Called it the "fruit cake of Halloween". I like it. I eat it in levels - by color. Yes, I know this is slightly mad, but whatever.
Hi Kallie! Hi Tracie!
I don't like the candy corn that has brown (I guess its supposed to be chocolate?). Tucker seemed really interested in it. He came up and was sniffing but didn't want to eat it.
It is mad, yes. That's how I eat it too.
candy corn - the ONLY candy I could never get a taste for. My daughter loves it, but I think that's mostly because I won't steal it.
OMG, Kimmie!
K finished the candy corn yesterday, so she grabbed the plastic cylinder and brought it to the couch. It rattled.
SUDDENLY all four cats appeared as if to say "Treats? I hear treats! Treats?"
And mystery KEPT WATCHING K as if to say "Where's my treat?!?!"
sounds like something my horses would do - they are spoiled rotten - at horse shows they get fed almost whatever we are snacking on. Now when they hear any sort of bag rattle, they stick their heads over our chairs to see what we have. Their favorite though is Wheat Thins. I swear the grey would sit up and beg if she had to for them.
He always comes up to see what I'm eating. He'll whack it with his paw, thinking he'll get some on it and can lick it off. But he just sniffed. I even held it out to him to see if he would try to bite it. Not interested in eating it but must have liked the smell.
From what I've heard of Tucker.. Tucker + Sugar == BAD IDEA!!!
