Seriously... I love and hate summer all in one big package.  I love the heat, but hate the sweat.

I HAVE to use Mitchum deodorant, and frankly, that **** is like using glue under your armpits.  It stops the sweating (for the most part) but doesn't keep smelling all that great.

AND NO WAY IN HELL, am I paying $7-$10 for a stick of "prescription strength" deodorant.

I wish I was rich, I'd totally get botox in my pits to stop sweating.

/rant.

supposedly.  I'm not sure how, but I read something on it a while ago.

*goes to google*

I've tried switching deodorants, I've tried every OTC strength available.  I've tried stick, roll-on, and spray.  With even the slightest increase in temperature (including subzero weather outside but oh lawd, lemme put on a jacket), Ill get wet pitties.  It doesn't smell, it's just juicy and not attractive at work.

Turns out taking Vitamin D supplements did the trick.

hmmm... i already supplement vitamin D and Calcium...  I think I'm just a sweaty biotch...  It's not AS bad when I'm on the pill, but when I had my IUD... oh dear lord it was awful!

lol you's just juicy, that's all.

Juicy's ok.  Juicy releases toxins for your bod.

I'm currently having some skin issues and it's causing me to not be able to use deodorant. It sucks! I hate the sticky feeling but I don't smell, so I guess that's a good thing.

Anyway, I found this while looking for green smoothie recipes. I'm thinking about trying it. I keep forgetting to put it on Pinterest.

Edit: Star, it's interesting you bring up the IUD making you more sweaty because that's when I started having skin issues (after getting a Mirena).

I use the expensive prescription strength stuff. The price is outrageous, but it's the ONLY thing I can use that doesn't have me walking about with massive pit sweat.

*thinks of Roxy's pinterest fail*

Yeah, when I had the Mirena...  I was doubling up shirts, changing multiple times a day... the whole shebang.  I couldn't stop the sweaty pits for anything!  Once I went back on the pill, I still sweat a lot, but I'm not sweating through shirts within an hour.

I've tried ALL the rx strength... the one that works best for me is Degree Clinical Strength... dove and secret clinical strengths both failed for me...

I don't know if you are a BJ's member, but they now sell Degree Clinical in a 3-pack... It breaks down to ~$4/5 per deo which is cheaper than the walmart.

Pinterest fail...the flaming toaster? I haven't had bad luck with anything from Pinterest yet, although I didn't find that particular link ON Pinterest, Pinterest is just how I remember to try things that I find online.

Interesting. I have an appointment with a derm because my regular doc couldn't figure out what was causing these hives and extreme itching everywhere, armpits included.

lmfao - thanks girls for bringing up my pinterest fail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

dirty girl!!! yes it is ;)

There is no antiperspirant that stops me from sweating.  I went without for a couple of days to test, and I sweat exactly the same amount with or without antiperspirant. Plus, although there's no conclusive evidence supporting the idea, now I'm reluctant to use them for fear of cancer... so I'm just using natural deodorant.  It's not amazing, but since I'd be sweating either way, I might as well go natural.

yep..stops the sweat...alot of people who abnormally sweat get it done on their foreheads and stuff

Botox is also supposed to help with migraine in some patients.  I had a Groupon offer e-mailed to me for Botox for migraine or for excessive sweating.  If I remember right, even at the discounted rate, it would still cost like a grand for the underarm option.
