How do you ask your doctor on a date?

Quote  |  Reply
OKAY this sounds absolutely insane, right? About a month ago I had to see a specialist, because my regular doctor thought there might be something wrong with me, but after seeing this specialist, it turned out I was perfectly fine. But it also turned out that this special doctor was absolutely gorgeous. We hit it off really really well. So my question is, is that completely wrong, to ask him out? Or something??!?! He wasn't just doctor nice you know, like we really hit it off and were talking about all sorts of crazy junk.

If he's not your personal doctor, I say go for it! You don't have anything to lose. Carpe diem!
Ask him out for coffee!!  Or go the whole enchilada and go for dinner!! =)~

Or just get enchiladas for dinner?  HA!
OKaaaay I can do that, except he's not my doctor anymore. Like I don't have any more appointments with him, so I won't be seeing him anymore, at least that way. Would it be totally insane to call him? (LIke at the office)

Im pretty sure it would be
Call up his office and tell the receptionist that you have a follow up question that you need to ask him. If she asks what is the question, just say that it is personal. If she puts you through to him, great... and if not, then ask her to have him call you back and make sure they have your phone number.
OHH, and let us know what happens!
ix...that is what I was thinking!!! I soooo want to do it, and I even have the guts to do it, I just don't want to come off looking like a psycho...
You can phone him, if you think it is something you will forever wonder about. But do not feel bad if he says no, because I think it is a violation of a medical ethics law for him to see a patient, even a "One Timer".
I think its only a violation of medical ethics if he is her current doctor...

i dont get that asking a doctor out is a topic in a calories site and about give up getting back here after having to give my life history to sign up but anyway.

you ladies have the problem of asking your male doctor and mine is asking my

nurse practitioner out.

i think we both knew there was somehting going on between use for most of the last year. this past week i went in for some stuff and then i went to this other part of the office for something else. before i knew there she was. her eyes were all wide and she was totally flauntng herself to me. i guess its stupid to say i love her

but sometimes it feels like that. i can go days at a time and find myself thinking about her all the time and hug my pillow at night pretending its her. THATS A SIGN U GOT IT BAD ID SAY, its fun how you get that way about someone and they arent the prettiest or slimmest but have a beautiful soul inside tht drives you crazy.

2 so what is it when an old female acquaintance (who was busy gettin

ready to go to europe tells u ask her again (that was 10 years ago and i didnt i just went on) she comes over tells you shes been over here looking for you

alot (but ive never heard a knock on the door or anything) doesnt remember

your name wont let you come over to her house to visit and insists on calling her on the phone when weve known each other for over 11 years and usually

met up at a mutual friend. her boyfriend of 10 years died so i just write it off

to that. then she says give her a month. and is on disablity for epstein barr virus which is presursor to a condition i have(fibromyalgia)

i think its just stupid because heck were both over 50 years old.

i never did call her figuring if i wasnt good enough to visit with her at her house there wasnt much there.

then theres one who i liked and we both enjoyed each others company

but she wont call me or anything ..then the same mutual friend of the last one

told me she likes me. but shed tell me she was busy when she was walking.

so i just went on figuring its crazy to get involved with that

what i dont get is the last one telling me to give her a month(which ive never hear of in my life. a female freind sez they need that time to mull there decision over or somethig like that . anyway i didnt cop to that and just went on

id really like to have another kid. my daughter is 35. i got a vasectomy when i got divorced from my second wife ( shed turned into an alcoholic and wouldnt stop

so we split up up

Test the waters. Take a friend or relative for an appointment..make something up. Once you've established you're not a patient anymore..flirt?

Oh, nah..having some vague pain or ache somewhere can't be proven to be fraud.

You have to think of the bigger picture here..bagging Dr McDreamy!

I want to know what happened!

Op was six years ago, they went out on that date, ate zombie brainz, married, had 2.3 kids, then divorced, she took him for a boatload of cash and is now living with a man named Dexter in the Azores.

he's a specialist, so its likely she would need to have a referral to even get in to see him again. Out of respect for his job and other patients who legitimately need him i think a phone call will suffice and not take up too much of his time during business hours. If he has been thinking about her he will want to call her back.

There might be a time limit between when he saw you last and when he can date you.  If he dated you too soon and got caught, he could lose his license.  It's worth looking up your jurisdiction's rules before you ask him.

Ay my age it would go something like "Hey Doc, once you're done checking my prostrate, wanna grab a cup of coffee?"
