I... I like calories.  I think it's really cool that my body stores calories as fat.  That's a pretty frickin' sweet banking system, there.  Also, I liked this comment:

During a famine, all the fat people are going to far outlive all the way-too-skinny people.  Ha!

I like Calories as well. :D I like being able to move. I like being able to live. I LOVE being able to have sex ;D

Isn't celery a negative calorie food?

I don't think I could exist on that.

I need chips.

Yeah I just had a funny realization.  With calorie counting, I'm eating a lot more "junk" food - pretzels, chips, rice, pasta, etc.  Carbs, essentially, but it would appear that I'm a lot happier eating a small amount of chips every day than trying to go without them altogether.  And the weight comes off, so how can it be bad? ;)

That's actually bad logic.

Celery has calories. Period. Not many, but some.

I like being able to think.  And breathe.  And play video games.  I needs calories for all that.

It's not. And anyone who says it is is misinformed or selling you something. Or Both.

*yawn*

morning chatters...I don't understand negative calories...R always tries to tell me that foods have negative calories...I tell him he's crazy

I think the "negative calorie" thing with celery and certain other foods is that your body (supposedly) burns more calories by digesting said food than are actually contained in the food itself.

Or something.
But supposedly, HK, what few calories it has are burned up plus a few more in the digestion of it.  Not sure I buy this theory at all, mind you, but it is supposedly true based on some weird study.

My problem is, I can't seem to stop with a few chips.  And a whole big bag of chips every day would be bad for my body.
Morning everyone.

Prove it.

I mean, come on, Doctors are STILL trying to figure out Digestion.

Prove It.

{{Glin}}

I can't prove it, therefore it doesn't exist...does that make me a scientist?

Morning Glinda
Morning Glinda.

*tries to prove it*

*head explodes*

Oh well!!

hi glin

It was probably a study funded by celery growers!
