Fuzzy little kitten sausages

Quote  |  Reply

Behold, kitten cuteness!

She was brought into the shelter this morning. The employees couldn't find anyone to look after her, so I volunteered to foster for her. She is five days old.

After I left the shelter with her, one of the employees called and asked if I could take another. That one is a bit older and has its eyes open. My boyfriend is picking it up now. Will post pictures when it gets here.

Name suggestions? :D

she looks like a tucker to me.

Phoebe.

Why is she without her mommy at such a young age?? Such a cuty! Good that she has a companion soon, being alone that young can't be fun.

Oh thank God - I thought this was some kind of sick, sick recipe idea... ;-)

Looks like a Daisy to me!!...

... Or maybe a Perdita... (being as how she's lost, and all)

Turtle

oh, that's good. like the bean trees.

exactly.

My boyfriend went to pick up the kitten (the one with its eyes open) and the volunteer coordinator told him it had to be put down. :( At least the one we already have didn't get sick from it.

The little sausage is doing well. Her eye slits look like they're going to open really soon. I can see a bit of blue from her eyes. :)

She still needs help peeing. When my boyfriend massaged her bladder, she was purring very, very quietly.

We're still deciding on names. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Peanut.

Don't know why..maybe it's her coloring and stripey look, but...Tigerlily!

Normally I only like 'real' names for pets. I feel it gives them dignity, but for some reason, that's what popped into my head.

Otherwise, I always say "Delilah" for a girl animal.

One day, I plan to have a Samoyed with that name. Not now, but you know...when I have either more space or less dogs.

i wish i could get a kitty :/

I was going to say that too!  Actually, I think I like that better.

Btw, corgisrule, my dog is a mutt, and I wasn't sure what she was a mix of until I saw your pics.  Now, I know she's part corgi... so, thanks!!

Zelda

Whenever I think of Zelda, I think of Zelda from Pet Sematery... :/

Anything but Princess Isis, which is what someone I know named her very small cat.

salsiccia, salchicha, salsitxa, I like all of these.  I just googled sausage in different languages.

My favorite is Sosis.  Haitian creole.

i want more baby kitty pictures! i'm getting vicarious kitty warm-fuzzies.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
