I am just wondering what the deal is with gold teeth. Why do people have them? Is it some sort of status symbol? What is the actual purpose - to look good or is it some benefit for your teeth?

Anyone here have gold teeth?

What about people who have diamonds or other stones inserted in their teeth?? Poor teeth...

Edit: Or in the eyes?

wtf?!

I've never seen or heard of people doing that to their teeth OR eyes!! eeek!

It's cool, yo.

I only have teeth in my mouth (no cavities, yay!) but if I had to get a filling, I really think I'd stick to the ones that look around the same color as the tooth.

I think gold teeth are definitely a status symbol in some circles (didn't some rap star have his teeth done completely in gold and diamonds?)

But I find them very ugly. A molar would probably not be a huge deal, but when people get the front teeth completely in gold..it just looks awful.

In my opinion.

You know what bugs me about fillings? My 2 teeth were pin-sized cavities (no pain), the dentist had to make them larger to be filled (they're still tiny but bigger than a pin hole!). So if my filling ever falls out, I will have a real cavity and it will hurt. :S

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
