The I hate Christmas Music Thread

Quote  |  Reply

With a passion I might add.

It comes in second only to country music. It would be the worst music on the planet, but since it is only around about 2 months of the year it is second worse. Country music just never goes away.

FYI - I hate haiku more than I hate christmas music or country music.

One of my favourite Xmas-themed songs are "The Night Santa Went Crazy" by Weird Al and "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer" by i-don't-remember-who (too lazy to google).

Mooni, I bet you'd like them Smile

No, but really, Christmas music is OK (I agree though - not from as early as Nov 1st).

35: me too, mooni!  Laughing  the 4 years of French that is

I no longer have my binder of French Christmas carols

*sads*

Deck your halls with Thomas Hawley

Fa la la la la la la la la

deck your halls with balls of hawley...............

I can listen to the grandma song a couple of times and chuckle, but that's it, gets old very quickly. I don't recognize night santa went crazy. Maybe I'll look it up, but probably won't.

If you'd rather, Mooni, we could just write COUNTRY CHRISTMAS SONGS!!!

(hohoho)

You're getting on my last nerve. I don't think you want to go there. ;P

oh boy no!  we're provoking mooni!  I'm betting afraid she'll bestow some unusually horrid and dreadful curses on us!

It's a form of desensitization therapy, Mooni. We post because we care.

Here you go:

Fried up the Christmas Turkey-
So Santa will come my way.
Made him some gravy and biscuits,
To take up on his sleigh.

Christmas balls!  Christmas balls!
I've got great big Christmas balls!
String 'em up, like Santy Claus,
I've got Christmas balls!

LOL @ 44.

I'm a singer, and I love Christmas music so much, I recorded my own Christmas music CD as a gift to my mom.  Tongue out

*runs out singing Carpenters Christmas tunes*

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
