Be patient, how old is he? I'm 55 and work as a teacher, butI'm am having problems I didnt' have before getting things done. My mom is 75 and has great problems with memory and walking around and remembering recent stuff. I take care of her bills, meds and doctors appts for the last 19 yrs, so if you are freaking out because he wanted help cutting something ,please learn to have some empathy for others. Does he had arthritis in his hands? I do and sometimes it can cause great problems. You sound really angry at him, gezzz how dare he ask you help cut come thing out for him, be glad you arent having to give him a bath and help him to the bathroom. I wonder how much help he gave you when you were young. God I miss my grandfather, he taught me to drive and make meat loaf.

You do realize we're coming into summer and all the teenagers are looking to somehow starve themselves into some sort of ridiculous idea of what they think a beautiful body is so they log onto CC and find The Lounge and then post stuff like this?

I obviously don't know the specifics of how he asking you to do these tasks, but, honestly - there are worse and more superficial ways to spend your time than doing your grandfather a favor every now and then.
How often do you spend time with him when he doesn't ask for your help?

I wish my grandfather had asked me to do him more favors so that I could have spent more time with him before he died. He wanted me to do what made me happy, though, and as a self-centered 17-year-old, I did just that and it didn't involve him. That self-centered teenager ultimately kept my father from getting to say goodbye to his dying father.
Gah. Every day I wish I would have spent more time with him. He was a phenomenal person.
Yeesh, sorry for being such a downer.
I don't know your grandfather's state of mind or your relationship with him, but you could just talk with him, help get rid of the virus, and research better virus protection software for him.
