Sometimes when I feel lazy, I think about people who can't move due to illness or accident. Then I realize how fortunate I am to be able to get off my butt.

I literally started doing this on Monday:

At work (you can do this at home, too) my job requires me to sit on my ass all day, so it can be really easy to get use to it, no matter how uncomfortable it can feel. So, what I did was set an alarm on my phone to go off every 45-60minutes. When that happens, I get up. It doesn't matter if I'm going to send a fax, pee or looking like an idiot while walking around our small parking lot.

The reason I started doing this is because I noticed my thighs would throb when sitting too long. That can be a sign of poor circulation/vein flow being cut off...which can result in SPIDER VEINS! EFF THAT! So, when you get lazy, ask yourself: How badly do you want spider veins?

I hope that inspired you to get off your ass. :)

Great.  Now she's lazy and depressed.  Way to go!

The hardest part of exercising is getting off the couch.

If you can manage that 5 seconds of motivation, you will be on your way...

I find when I start the day off productively (getting up early, maybe doing dishes or picking up little messes) I am more motivated to stay productive all day.

On the other hand when I sleep in or spend the morning doing nothing I usually keep right on with that.

Being productive also helps me eat better.
