otherwise, nope and nope. I'm from Europe and no f&c around here. ...well, having said that: they do sell some weird stuff that they call fish&chips in some places - but it's nowhere near the British original! totally to stay away from. *shudders*

Not too long ago I went to a restaurant in a neighboring state and ordered Fish & Chips. I was expecting 1 or 2 large pieces of cod fried in a flaky batter with fries.
Well, I got 2 scrawny fish sticks and soggy fries. :( It literally looked like they heated up some frozen fish sticks!

The place I'm going to tonight is known statewide for having authentic Fish & Chips. I've never been there before, but I hear it's super good!

They have weird hours, we had to get take out :( so if you do go, go earlyish.

The fish & chips were really good, but the fries were kind of soggy...
The bf said they're usually not that soggy, so hopefully that's not the norm.
