So what do you think of the butter Michael at the fair?  For it or against it?

For it.  Why not?  They had tiger Woods a few years ago, why not have a tribute to one of the worlds' most famous international superstars.  I doubt that it will draw people to the fair who wouldn't already go, but if it does, more revenue isn't going to hurt us.

I think I will avoid the fair due to the calories.  I can't resist some of the junk food.  Also, my budget doesn't like the impact the state fair can have.  Is anyone going to see any of the concerts this year?

I was born and raised in Iowa, but recenly moved the Arkansas. But, I still love my old home state. Going to miss the fair this year :(

Really? Wow. What part? I was in Earlham, which is about 20 miles or so from Des Moines, to the west.

I was from a small town around Ft. Dodge and Carroll area. There were more dogs, cats, and cows than people.
