Just a Few words about what the South Means to Me....
Growing up, I was raised on stories about what it means to be Southern, and I was told to never get above my raisin'. I think that today, many people long for a simpler place in time. You can really find it in my neck of the woods. Folks take their time here, and after church we don't all rush home, because we like to talk and exchange ideas for a spell. That is just the Southern way. In the North, everyone is rush, rush, rush. I think that the South is a special place- full of gracious people that have suffered the agony of death and defeat, but like the ashes of Pheonix we have risen once again to become the pillar of the nation.
The South is a diverse place, yet its all somehow connected. Why if you're in Richmond or Nashville or Charleston or Mobile, you somehow feel connected to all those place and you know you can always find good comfort food and people treat you just like family. That is what the South means to me. And I'm proud of that and my ancestors who fought so bravely for the cause of Independence and Freedom.
You already copy pasta'd that last time you were here.
OMG I want this.
And I love the title of this thread.
I just noticed what the first word was. That's a really odd typo.
the South blows
Is he using Jew as a verb...
I can't figure out how that typo came about.
I read it as if he's addressing a particular Jew, and just forgot the comma. I also read the OP in Jack Handey voice. It's perfect.
i'm in nashville. i hate it and the people can suck a ****.
at any rate, your threads have gotten progressively more annoying. bravo.
Nashville is a wonderful city. Lots of hipsters too! I love the area around 21st street where the Pancake Pantry is located. Sorry, but the North is just awful and so depressing. Everyone knows this. But bless their hearts, they do try.
I really wonder what that guy in the photos thinks of all this? Does he know his picture is all over the internet as a troll? Or is he, in fact, the troll? If so, how does he feel knowing everyone knows what he looks like?
What do people in real life think of this guy?
So much mystery!

If the presence of hipsters is the standard, Seattle is the best city on the planet.
If you want hipsters go to Savannah.
SCAD is the hipster capital of the world.
I live in what you call the North...and um...its pretty awesome.
We have a lot of Southern attributes around here. It's a good mix of both I think.
San Francisco's pretty good for hipster-watching too.

no, no, no. the absence of hipsters would be the standard. i walk down the street with my hackles permanently raised most nights. damn hipsters are everywhere. just like those big street cockroaches.
I think having the least educated population in not only the US, but in the Western Civilized world is what the South means to me.
And sidenote...RB...question for you. What do you think of Tennessee? I know a girl there...who would be PERFECT for you. I would do whatever I could to make that possible.
