I didn't make it for the nookie
haaahaha

Mmmm thick-sliced rapture

i can't decide what i want for dinner tonight...
I made sesame-teriyaki yellowfin last night, but I don't want the leftovers.  I'm thinking baked potato.
i'm thinking veggie or turkey burger. but i don't know with what. i have to go to the store no matter what for breakfast stuff...
ooh sesame teriyaki yellowfin sounds awesome!
it was good, but it's not as good left over. I wonder if I can somehow use it in something else rather than eat it alone.
hmm that's a tough one....

I'm thinking this:

Tuna Salad Wraps

Ingredients

  • Leftover tuna steak meat (equivalent of at least 10 oz.)
  • ¼ cup cucumber chunks, meat only
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ head lettuce, chopped
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons diced green onions
  • salt & pepper

Is it sad that I eat pretty much the same thing every day?

Corn flakes or granola bar/apple for breakfast

Turkey or ham and swiss on wheat, light cheez-its or yogurt or something

Lean pockets, flatbread pizzas, steak pitas, something like that for dinner

I've gotten so used to the no variety thing.

I'll probably have to halve the recipe, as I don't have THAT much leftover tuna... but that sounds better than eating it plain
I don't think it's sad, Justin... it's easier that way to calculate calories and it feels safe.  But eventually I'd think you'll get bored.
if i liked mayo and cilantro i bet i'd love that! sounds like a good idea for sure though
Maybe.. plain yogurt for the mayo... and I'm not HUGE on cilantro either.  I'd have to tweak it.  That's okay, though; I almost never make a recipe exactly as written...  it's a good start.
i need variety, even though i don't have  much breakfast variety. it's either steel cut oats, berries, cinnamon and a little brown sugar. or a light english muffin, tbls of peanut butter and a piece of fruit. i have so many options here at work too, i should switch it up a bit
i'm all over the place with dinners though.
I really wish I liked oatmeal.  I just can't get into it.  Texture thing.  But it seems like the perfect breakfast food.

Okay, I'm off to pick my girlie up from work.

{{hugs all}}

Have a good night!

{{Justin}}  Have a lovely evening wit' yo lady!
