Did you lie?
On your driver's license about your weight?
Mine says 137. When the picture was taken I was probably more like 150+.
Wouldn't you know, now I weigh less!
Your drivers license asks for your weight?
huh. ours doesn't.
Virginia doesn't have a weight, but I did lie about my height. License says 5' and I'm really 4'11"...

Nah, I was 115 dripping wet, so I was honest. Now..I weigh maybe 1-2 pounds less or a pound more depending what day you catch me.
I have a WA state ID (which isn't technically a driver's lisence, but for the purposes of this question it's the same). At the time of the photo, my weight was accurate, but I have since lost 30 lbs that I shouldn't have lost, as a result of my eating disorder. My weight on my ID card generally doesn't come up, except when some random store clerk looks at your ID and keeps going on and on about how much weight you've lost and asks what your "secret" is. UGH. Talk about triggering!!

Mine says 180... I was 180 when I was 16. I never updated it. ![]()
I SO will when I am under that though!!
Oh, I lied. I put 175 when I was about 210. Now I'm 137, so it's a little more wrong in the other direction! So silly that they include that information!
MD has weight (I had to pull mine out to check...) I'm about 5lb over what is on my license -- which is probably 10lb under what I was at the time.
In the provinces I've lived (Nova Scotia and Ontario) weight, height and hair colour aren't required, but I'm pretty sure my first Security Guard license had me at 89kg (196lbs). My current one is a much more flattering 68kg (150lbs). My Military ID says I'm 76kg (168lbs).
I'm pretty sure they didn't design the system for people with changing waists, either up OR down ![]()
I just got a new one this week in Tn. it has :hair color, eye color, female , NO weight!
My hair color was wrong most of the time too so why worry about the weight lie too.
whaaat?! drivers licenses in the US contain your weight?!
*runs to check my license*
Admittedly I only have a learners licence here in New Zealand, but all it has on there is my Full name, date of birth and whether or not I want to be an organ donor... Which for some reason is blank. Does that mean I said no? I think I said no. (not because I'm selfish, I told my mum/family that if the time comes, they can take my internal organs such as heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, etc, but they can't have my skin, my bones, my eyes, my face... I want to remain generally intact but you can take my internal organs)... I digress.
You poor things. Why do you need to put your weight on them? Does it somehow help the officer judge your capability of driving or something?

Hair and eye colour too?? This is so strange...
I had to dig out my license. I am due to go renew it by Friday. My current one says 190lbs. At the time that I got this one I really weighed about 210lbs. I weigh 175 now, that is probably what I will put on my new one. Maybe.....
last time I renewed, I was asked "What weight do you want on your license?" I guess they already know the deal...
I'm in Canada, and mine has my height, weight, hair and eye colour. For those of you who don't have your weight listed on your license, what does your passport say? I don't think they're so lenient with those.
I would never lie about my weight on a license - wouldn't it be embarassing as hell if someone called you on it?

Liiiiiiie!!!!! :D
My Wisconsin DL has weight, hair/eye color, etc. It was tough to tell them I was 30 lbs heavier. Now I'm a bit under.
My license clearly says "organ donor," right under the photo. I think that's important.. and... two weeks ago when I went to get the picture the nice lady at the license office actually said "thank you" to me for electing that as an option.
They don't ask for weight/eye color/hair color for the benefit of the cop pulling you over, but because vehicle registration and drivers license info is widely used to find and identify people.
If you get in a car accident/lost/have a sudden soap opera worthy bout of complete amnesia it is quite helpful for the cops to all be immediately sent info including your height and weight.
Mine says 195 when at the time I weighed 210. Now I weigh 170, so the number is 25 pounds too high...not 15 shy.
When I went in today and renewed mine, the computer rejected the new picture the first time. The guy finally realized that it was because I had lost weight and the computer didn't recognize my face. LOL Oh, and I had put the true 175lbs.
