Now you're just being ridiculous!....  Wink

I was just talking to some friends about my love/hate relationship with certain foods.  I've been known to verbally assault pizza.   :)

I know, that would be like telling me to stop buying shoes.

Is this even possible?  For me it certainly isn't!

I don't think it is....

Looloo is right! Don't put foods that will tempt you to gorge in your house. Its ok to treat yourself once in a while, but putting it in your house makes that treat more likely to be a daily habit.

Yeah, most people don't like coming to hangout at my house because I don't have snackies, especially my nieces and nephews. If its a planned visit I buy some treats but make my company take what's left with when they leave.

I am the same with licorice. I crave it every day and it is a constant struggle. I always buy it thinking I will share it with someone or just eat a couple pieces a few days a week, but 15 minutes later Im looking in the bag and wondering where it all went. UGH. I just try not to look at it or buy it at all, realizing I cant control myself.

I do that to my poor boyfriend if I'm having one of  those off days. I'll take him to the store with me where I will pick out a huge chocolate cake among other gloriously crappy food, and I'll have a slice and whatever else we're making, and then I send him packing with the truckload of leftovers.

"Aww God..do I really have to take all this crap home?"

"Yes! I will not have crappy food staring at me for the next week! Take it or I'll eat it and start looking like your ex!"

"I try so hard to block that out, it's so lucky I have you to remind me of it every day of my life.."

"Shut up and grab that cake!"

Bad things happen when I pick up a container of ice cream. The pint sized ones, but if my BF had bigger ones in his house and I was throwing caution to the wind that day, the same would probably happen.

It goes down so easily, you know? So smooth and good, and..it never *feels* like I'm inhaling 1300 calories and only God knows how many carbs total..I just have a bite, and...yeah.

Next thing you know, I'm looking to see if he has more ice cream in the house.

It's worse than Crack, srsly.
