Men suck (no offense)

So here it goes. My rant.

how absolutely annoying is it to have a guy whistle at you like your a dog? like you are supposed to come when called? Do men think that woman can be trained to perfection? its only a tad (sarcasm here.) arg-ful to have boys and creatures of the like to treat me (and any other woman they like) like i am an item and to be possessed. ugh! *frustration Face*

Equally bad is when people call me honey, dear, sweetie, etc.  Unless you're an old woman, you can't use those.  Or hubby can use honey.  But everyone else?  Who gave you permission to ask me a question on how to get somewhere and then demean me by calling me sweetie.  Miss works just fine.

Tell him not to do that, that it pisses you off! But he probably won't listen so throw his rude behavior back in his face and start doing to him all the things that he does to you to see how he likes it. If he gets angry or confused calmly explain to him that if he has the right to treat you like that then you have the right to treat him equally. Worked for me.

I had the experience the other day of a man trying to talk to me from another car while I was driving down the highway......that was a first. I know people try to talk at stoplights or whatever, but while doing 70 on the highway???? I don't get it. Is it even possible to successfully do the whole: hi, what's your name? Are you married? etc with someone at that speed and maintain safety? He certainly tried, but I was too concerned with the potential accident to respond. Not a complaint really, just don't get the mindset that would go into that attempt.

Simialarly I had a guy stop me and ask me if I wanted a ride once when I was out jogging......in full workout gear IPod and everything........now I'm all for being creative and taking a shot; but seriously? What kind of sense does that make? Again not a compliant, I don't think men suck. I just think some of the things people do make no sense.

Who the heck DOESN'T know that W.Va is a state?  And western Virginia isn't West Virginia, it's the western portion of Virginia.  If you tell me you are from western Virginia, then I certainly wouldn't think of W. Va., and I think most others would think the same.
