Music that makes you happy

Hey everyone! So I was curious, instead of just asking what type of music or band or whatever that you like, I was wondering what you all listen to to make you happy whenever you've had a sucky day or are just feeling sad for whatever reason.

Right now for me I've been listening to Madeleine Peyroux's album Careless Love. I seriously love every song on there. Something about it just puts me in a good mood and calms me down.

It depends on the mood I'm in and what kind of happy I need to be.  Before I hopped in the shower and cooked my breakfast, I was dancing around this living room to Taking Back Sunday's Louder Now album (which I also worked out to) because I was so ecstatic about something silly, and it overwhelmed me.  I looked like an idiot dancing, but I felt so amasing I couldn't help it.  I re-started the CD and am still rockin' out to it while eating my omelette.

Then there are those times when I think about my upcoming wedding and I'll listen to the music we're going to play at our ceremony.  I'll be walking down the aisle to a local band's song Take (MySpace.com/ResonantSoul) and whenever I bust out my wedding plans, I play that CD.

If I'm in a silly mood and need some pep, bring on the teeny bopper music.  Backstreet Boys, other girl bands and boy bands and all that music that was so cool in the nineties until everyone became embarassed of it. :D  I can't sit still in my chair when I've got the Black and Blue CD playing.

And if I'm cleaning and need to get the happy energy to do a decent job, I play Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA, Pierrot, and some Dir en Grey songs.  I like a lot of JRock and JPop music.  It's so peppy, it always perks me up.

If I'm all ho-hum and depressed and need to be happy, Dresden Dolls.  The Jeep Song is so catchy. :D
