Seems to me it would depend greatly on the details of the story.
For example, I think a story in which the couple had an ideal and transformative romance would have a different title than one in which they were distant and fighting before her death and now he's consumed with guilt.
Although, now that I consider some of the titles suggested, "Memory Lies" might be appropriate for both of those scenarios.
I don't know that I like the idea of giving someone title ideas for a book. If you can write the book, surely you can come up with a title?
I'd been pondering this all morning. And then I read LP's response and it reminded me of something...
No matter what title YOU come up with, there's a really good chance your publisher will change it anyway. I don't know how many books I've read where that comes out in the acknowledgements or on the author's website.
Other than that, kudos! And good luck with your book :)

I'm writing a book about a 29 year old man who's wife died in a car accident, and he travels around the world looking for closure.

This.
Honestly, I wouldn't trust naming a book that I wrote to strangers who haven't read it. You know the details best, you know what kind of story you're trying to tell... that should affect your choice of a name. We know nothing about the characters, situation (other than what you've said), challenges, outcomes, etc. The title is going to have to speak to people and get them interested enough to pick up the book and look at the dust jacket to see what it's about. Besides, you don't want to end up with a romance novel title on a psychological thriller, or vice versa.
Pfft.
Just teasing. Meant no offense. I'm a bit of a film nerd. :)
Yes, and that's a bit of an understatement;)
LolXD.
Single ticket
Mourning glory
Epilogue
I'm writing a mystery, giving no details here.
Let's discuss contract agreement and I'll help with the title. Have you finished the story? Sometimes easier to put a title to the story when the story is finished. Good luck with your book.
Escape from Surrealville.
"In the Darkness This Bird Sings"
"I've Been Dreaming of You"
Lyrics from "The Mountain" by Mason Jennings
No Escape from Reality
How many countries does he visit? maybe tie that in the title... (let's call it 15)
15 Countries, 1 Man
15 Countries, 1 Broken Heart
15 Countries, 1 Lost Soul
