Does anyone have a problem with this? Yes, no? Why or why not? Don't care?

Thoughts/opinions/discussion.

I, personally, feel it is not appropriate to post full nude photos of your new baby on facebook for all to see. But then again, I'm not a parent so maybe I am missing something.

Honestly, I don't see the point why they would have to be naked? So people can see if it's a boy or a gurl? To count all the "toes"? A picture of mom and baby would be much more appropriate.

Heck, it's like posting a picture of a dog tagged as "hey look his pee pee is sticking out"

I take it you don't like Anne Geddes photography either?

I think context matters in cases like this.  Not that I would post nude pictures of my baby anywhere, much less Facebook (I really don't understand that) - but a naked baby cuddled up on a blanket posted by a parent isn't exactly exploitive or titilating.  It's a baby in it's natural state.

But I can see how some people might have problems with it.

I don't feel offended if someone posts a newborn pic online. I wouldn't do it b/c I would feel uncomfortable with everyone being able to see my naked child.

I think its more inappropriate to post toddler/young child bathtub pics online.

I have no problem with that picture you posted. I, however, do have a problem with a friend on my facebook who posted a picture of his just-born son... baby dick n balls out in everyone's face.

Yeah, I don't like that either. Nor Toddlers and Tiara's.

It doesn't bother me if it's a couple of pictures. Honestly, I usually don't look at them. So it's just a thumbnail of some naked child I'll never meet or care to meet (in most cases).

If I have millions of nude baby photos (or clothed) showing up on my news-feed, that's another story.

LMAO!

I think it's a bad idea to post naked pics of your kid on the internet. I know that's probably an old fart view, but I would not want to risk the possibility of someone using it in some untoward way.

I'm not a fan of totally nude babies.

If they are in a blanket, or swaddled?, or covered like the Anne Geddes photos, that's perfectly OK.  I don't even mind some baby tush.  But the privates should probably be covered it you're putting them on the web, there are too many freak-o's out there.

LOL Sorry but that was hilarious! Baby dick n balls!

I thought about posting my ultrasound picture where you can see clearly that I am having a boy and he is well endowed...but then I got worried it would offend someone.

is it one of those normal b/w US pics? or the ones that are sort of in color? to me, and keep in mind this is just my opinion, so take it or leave it, but the b/w pics are fine...

I would suspect most people from most countries are absolutely okay with it. Except in America, nudity seems to be forbidden and extremely frowned upon. No idea why.

If the baby were posing with toy guns, I would doubt it would make as many people feel on edge like it would for me. I'm being presumptious of course, but that's just what I've observed from the American culture.

Nothing wrong with little baby bottoms and it doesn't make people freaks for thinking they're cute.

I hadn't really thought about it...you kind of don't want to think about anyone viewing a small baby that way, but..sadly, I guess some sickos do.

Nothing wrong with putting a diaper on it. A friend of mine did the cutest portraits of her son when he was about four months old or so. A Santa hat and holiday type diaper cover.

He looked super cute.

When my girls were super duper young, I came close to posting a video of them playing in the tub.  You couldn't really see anything but bubbles, but I stopped myself once logic and common sense re-entered the room.

I have pretty high security on FB, but you never know.  They change things so often and what other people know about computers is typically more than what I know..  so, no.  Hell no.

It wouldn't bother me. The naked body is beautiful. Super cute as an infant.

It's not about nudity. I have naked baby pics of my boys, in the family photo box, at home, for my family's personal amusement. It's about sickos on the internet.

Sickos will be sick whether they see genitals or not.
