In other news, I've just done an unofficial count of the flock of sheep in the field next door, 20 ewes and 39 baby lambs.

I'd be out there trying to hug them all.  also... HI!!!! :D

They are too sweet! Strangest thing, they don't have fences here; the field is surrounded by a ditch full of water on three sides and a canal on the other, so I'm just two boots full of muck away from lamb cuddling cuteness overload.

I have no idea what's going on.  When in doubt as to the appropriate response, hand out food.

No need to apologize, ACZ, not in my view. We all have our moments. I actually appreciate you and SG coming in here to talk. Better to fix things sooner rather than have it all turn into a big kerfuffle.

*awards self bonus points for 'kerfuffle'*

I don't feel like I said anything wrong in the other thread. I was simply stating my view on the matter. Why is that so offensive? Why am I a low caliber character? Internet forum, everyone's allowed to say whatever they want, right? She's still going on about being "followed" in here and that she said what she needed to say and blocked us. I'm offended and I am not nuts. That is completely unfair.

I guess I'm not a regular chatter so I have no right to be in here and no support from the group.

Of course you have a right to be in here and get support.  To be fair, I'm staying out of it because I have no idea what happened, and I don't want to stick my nose in it.

Don't give in to their siren song.  Lambs are vicious.  They'll eat your face off given half a chance.

i know this is a semi-cop out dessert, but does anyone else think i should make this for easter dinner at J's parent's house?

or...does anyone have any awesome ideas that are delicious but won't take me all saturday to make?

cheesecake made with lemon greek yogurt.

i'm trying this new thing from pintrest where you put your salad in a mason jar and add dressing and shake.  it's  not really new.. it's just an alternative to a tupperware... and I'm broke and have an old mason jar.....

Not having seen said disagreement, I won't inject an opinion on any of that.

However, like Sparky, I'd never want anyone to feel they weren't welcome in Chat.

Early on in my chat days, I did a JE and didn't lock it.  Someone from chat came in and basically called me out on what I'd written.  (Had to do with family issues)  Called me a beeotch in my JE, told me how awful I was, etc.

My point is: Even chatters don't always get along and that's ok.  Shouldn't stop anyone from coming in because even if one person doesn't like you, that's not the group.

I don't get along with everyone at work and I still come here 5 days a week. :o)

I have no idea what's going on either, so I'll just sit over here eating my cherry cheesecake brownie and spanking the coconut cream conjugal begonias.

Thank you.  There's a reason I'm doing what I'm doing.  If you don't agree with it, that's fine.  But I assume you all trust my judgement enough/know I have a good reason to do so.

That's a cool idea.  If I toss salad in a bowl, I end up with stuff on the counter no matter how careful I am!

that sounds good too.

i may stick with the cake bars though.  although, i'd want to switch out the white chocolate chips (blech) for some other kind of chip.  hmm.  peanut butter or mint seem like viable options...

ohhhh....poor birdie just bashed right into my window.

I hate when they do that!

!!!!!!!! is it okay? :(

You will all be happy to know, by the way, that the phone interview was a formality, I kicked butt on my skills tests, and now I just have to wait until references are returned before the company I'm excited about makes a final decision.

I'm very worried they won't offer health bennies, which would most likely be a deal breaker, but also realize I'm creating anxiety for no reason other than my love of speculation.

I don't think so.  It's just lying on the sidewalk.

Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have butted in.  It's just that I am a middle child and I'm always trying to pour oil on the proverbial troubled waters.

*sigh*

The other week, a bird got entangled in the frayed ends of a tarp, and in its frantic effort to get away was bashing itself into the lawnmower. I cut the string, but I couldn't get very close - I hope the string that was left didn't get him caught up more later.
