You will all be happy to know, by the way, that the phone interview was a formality, I kicked butt on my skills tests, and now I just have to wait until references are returned before the company I'm excited about makes a final decision.

I'm very worried they won't offer health bennies, which would most likely be a deal breaker, but also realize I'm creating anxiety for no reason other than my love of speculation.

Wooooo-hooooooo Pav!  *fingers crossed for health bennies*

i'm trying this new thing from pintrest where you put your salad in a mason jar and add dressing and shake.  it's  not really new.. it's just an alternative to a tupperware... and I'm broke and have an old mason jar.....

That's a cool idea.  If I toss salad in a bowl, I end up with stuff on the counter no matter how careful I am!

too... many... bedit possibilities...

Have at it! ;o)

Not having seen said disagreement, I won't inject an opinion on any of that.

However, like Sparky, I'd never want anyone to feel they weren't welcome in Chat.

Early on in my chat days, I did a JE and didn't lock it.  Someone from chat came in and basically called me out on what I'd written.  (Had to do with family issues)  Called me a beeotch in my JE, told me how awful I was, etc.

My point is: Even chatters don't always get along and that's ok.  Shouldn't stop anyone from coming in because even if one person doesn't like you, that's not the group.

I don't get along with everyone at work and I still come here 5 days a week. :o)

True, but my feelings are hurt! I wasn't trying to stir up trouble. I can't understand why I'm an unfriendable character now!

Cry Panties

No no, really, I'd just say something digusting.  I mean, the source material is "tossing salad" and "stuff on the counter."

Very happy to know! How did the phone situation get sorted?

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")

The birdie is undeniably not fine. *sigh*

I moved him onto the mulch, under some flowers.  I'll take him home and bury him.

(I cannot stand throwing dead things in the trash, so yes, I will bury it!)

Yeah, I kind of caught it as I typed, but figrued, why not let someone have their way with it.

Yep, I know, I know!

It is now raining and cold here, and there may be a smattering of snow later.  Yuk.

On a better note, I have just removed 6 layers of nail varnish (basecoat, 2 colour (dark blue), topcoat, gold shatter, topcoat) way easier than I thought I would.  The shatter and topcoat was a lazy reaction to chips in the blue varnish.  I am thinking about red for the next couple of days.

I can't paint my fingernails.  For one, my right hand always looks like it was done by a 4 year old.  For two, within about twelve seconds the polish chips.

finally... i was like to esplode...

Use sammi's recipe!  You can make it gluten free by crushing gluten free gingersnaps and mixing with butter for the crust.  And then I think you have to sub the flour in the recipe with a couple tablespoons of cornstarch (or you might be able to omit altogether).
