Is it really possible to transform a flabby body...??

Quote  |  Reply

I want to focus more on toning my body, as well as losing more weight. I am still young, yet I do not have any type of muscle tone or definition in my legs, arms, etc. Ever since puberty, I've had flabby legs, thighs, never had those lean, toned thighs that some girls have in their youth. Just poor genetics. However I want to change that

but I want to know is it REALLY possible for a woman who never had a toned, hot body to turn it into something like this

http://www.derekhail.com/wp-content/uploads/2 009/02/faphne-joy-show-magazine-2.jpg

Most of these women usually were already small, petite to begin with, and were already toned and they just enhanced that. I've never seen a woman with a flabby, shapeless body transform it into something like this ever. Maybe there have been women who did but I just never met them or witnessed this

I just want to know is it possible ??

"candid" means the person doesn't mean they're being watched.

Yep, stretch marks are genetic.  A lot of things are.  Not to say that there aren't measures that you can take to combat genetics, but in some cases, there really is so much you can do.

Everyone should strive to be the best version of themselves, I think.  I had to stop comparing myself to celebrities and models (yes, I was dumb enough to do that to begin with) because I was only setting myself up for failure and disappointment by doing so.

I'm gonna look like that. Minus the implants.

Although I have to admit, when I see something like this:

I can't help but to think of the Florida "pumping parties" where that old lady died because the silicone in her butt got into her bloodstream.

1. I agree with Tennessee that you need to start loving YOUR body.

2.  No one knows how close you can get to your "ideal", but it is a fact that unless you start working at it, you won't improve your "always been flabby" body.

3.  The success stories (like ambereva) are many.  Eat less, eat healthy, and start working out.  You will be healthier and you will look better.

4.  Weightlifting REALLY worked for me (and ambereva).  While I don't have a body that approaches your ideal, my husband regularly tells me how "hot" I am and how much I have attained from my hard work...

All of the linked pictures show pretty women who are thin. None of them actually show toned bodies.

Yes, Dream, it is very possible for a woman who is flabby to get very toned and firm. It takes a lot of work. If you've always been "soft" looking and not toned, it's because you weren't active and using your muscles.

I'm your height. I have always been more "soft" looking even when thin because most of the time I wasn't active and using muscles. When I was active, I looked toned. Several times in my life I dedicated the time to working out, which included using weights and achieved a very firm toned body.

I never had the desire to look like, neither was I ever as driven as Ambereva, and that's OK with me.

If you want to look toned with muscle definition, you have to eat right and exercise a lot.

That woman looks pretty fit to me, not like ambereza, but still pretty fit. I bet she eats right and works out lots. I wouldn't mind looking like her (except for the massive hooters).

I have a naturally big butt. It's firm too. I definitely got it from my mom.

Some people naturally have big butts, while others naturally have big boobs, even if the rest of the person is thin.

I agree. It kinda pisses me off when people think that just because a woman isn't muscular, she isn't fit or doesn't lift weights.

I'm sure that woman works out, lifts weights, and eats really clean to keep her body the way it is.

man some people are being harsh!

the bottom line is... if you have a naturally curvy body type, then YES, your body can look like that, you just need to lose lots of fat and do lots of toning exercises and eat extremely healthy. i would say she weighs less than 120 lbs depending on her height.

if you do not have a naturally hourglass shape, then NO, you can't look like that. some of that is 100% genetics: the curve of her hips, the tiny ribcage, the dainty shoulders and collarbone. these things you cannot change even with plastic surgery.

It won't necessarily be possible to achieve that kind of hourglass figure.  That depends on genetics (and possible plastic surgery and/or photoshop as well).  But it is possible to get toned and slim.

this one is a candid

She looks like she has always been small, and toned. I want to know if its possible that my body can look like this through diet or exercise or would I need to get surgery?

(a) this isn't candid.

(b) why do you want to look like a vacuous wannabe porn star?

I thought it was candid. It didn't look airbrushed. She's not a porn star but 50 cents girlfriend. I used her as an example as a body inspiration something to motivate me

Ok, I have to admit I lol-d at that :-D

I think you can do a lot with your body - especially if genetics are on your side. But such a small waist, for example, might not be achievable because you need a small ribcage and wide hips to get that curve. And even surgery won't fix that.

You also might never get rid of certain bits of fat unless you turn into a complete athlete and/or do loads of expensive ultrasound/massage/whatnot treatments.

'Toning up' means buliding muscle which means lifting weights and eating healthily and with enough protein in your diet. But you also need ot be realistic about what works for you and what doesn't. You can be a thin as a rail, if you've got short bent legs you will have short bent legs - and simply learn to choose a lenth of skirt that shows then to their best advantage.

Don'T compare yourself too much with others, it's just going to undermine your confidence - and confidence is sexy.

I don't know how to do the link thing...but seriously, look at ilaria montagnani and her forza exercise on you tube!!

Now I want those arms, 6 pack etc.

I'll never have her legs, cause, well, she needs them and besides, I am short (5 feet).

So realistically, I will never look like your photos.

Most of my friends love me for who I am now, not what I look like.this doesn't mean I don't want to improve my appearance..but basically, my happiness is the journey not the goal.

Why do you want this hot body, dreamofbeingthin?Someone special you want to impress?

Hm...I am much happier being thinner than I was a year ago but I have to admit the increased attention is a bit irritating. You start asking yourself what the people really like, you for who you are or that construct of flesh and bones you happen to reside in. Hard to describe.

I woudl have loved to live my life in a fitter body but I've met a very few devastatingly attractive women in my life and they had just as many problems as everybody else

Being attractive (i.e being young healthy with clear skin, shiny hair and having an even looking face) makes your life a hell of a lot easier. Just like being rich - and just like being rich it's no guarantee for happiness.

and I am trying to find a boyfriend too so I have to put my best foot forward by looking better and feeling better. also ppl tend to be nicer to you when you are very attractive...

If you are looking to be attractive to men (not douches) than confidence is a hell of a lot more attractive than that photo.

Both of those photos are photoshopped to hell.

Despite what some would have you believe, many men prefer women who like themselves over what makes the front cover of Maxim.

oh, no.

no, dream, people tend to be nicer to you when you expect it of them, and when you have enough self-esteem to stick up for yourself, regardless of whether or not you look like 50 cent's girlfriend.

being attractive and hating yourself is a sure way to set yourself up for abuse.

you are so not ready for any kind of a relationship. you don't even know who you are.

Men who only like you because of your body are not worth having. Please don't spend your youth chasing those a-holes. You won't be happy when you wake up and realize what you have wasted.

It is possible to get a nicer shape than what you have now, but it doesn't come without a lot of hard work and sacrifice.

Like the other ladies have said you need to get into weight lifting and eat right and lose fat.  The only way to have defined muscle tone is to build muscles the only way to have 6 packs or a nice belly is to eat right and lose fat - oh and lift weights.

The sacrifice will be the sweets, the indulging in adult beverages, the time away from family and friends, and the staying away from all the triggers that make you not go to the gym or stay within the eating plan.

Oh and I posted a thread on the fitness forum that got slammed by some guy cause I mentioned I saw a woman at the pool who had a nice shape in her bikini until she turned around and had the "pancake butt" - man that guy ripped me a new one, mostly I think because I said she had obvious implants - anyway my point to that thread was I used to have a fat flat pancake butt too - and if it weren't for weight lifting I still would have a fat flat pancake butt - but now I got a nice rear it still has some fat to lose on it, but I'm still a work in progress.
