No, no. Those were entirely understandable, and the people I know all made certain their new username was applied to the same account/posting history.
I am not hiding as a sock puppet. I am simply posting my thoughts on certain subjects. I am not a threat to anyone. I will neither accept supporters, neither will I support anyone. I promise only to post what is honestly my opinion. I won't interrupt your chat or make a nuisance of myself.
I think if we say "NicePumpkins" 3 times out loud she will show herself.

This is true. It's also impossible to derail it. You can piss people off but even then you're most liekly just to be treated to a few polite posts and then more or less ignored.
It is a weird mechanism in chat and it is odd how it attracts some people and repels others (which I can also understand - somewhat - I'm not saying that's a negative)
I also like that the average age is actually fairly old in the there and that most of the blokes take part as well. A nice change from a lot of online places.

Couldn't a mod just check IP addresses to see who is who? They've done it a bunch of time on various forums I used to visit.
