And the Skeletons of CHAT Call Me Home
Welcome to the Daily Chat.
Given the recent track record, I guess I'll be waiting for a while until Chat warms up...

Heh. I do have to say that closing the response with "fyvm" did cross my mind.
Chat's corrupted me.
How 'bout "SWAK?"
Hm. The first time I actually say "fyvm" on paper was on a fax that a plaintiff's pro bono lawyer sent to the law firm I worked at.
That was funny. :D
.....
You guys are the brilliantist! I crossed Sam and Momma's and gave birth to the most pristine beautiful terse response. Muahahahahaha
It'd be nice to be able to take it to H/R but that's not a realistic option for me. I have some ambitions, and learning to (or getting you guys to) deal with people like him without help are paramount. That being said, you can bet your aunt fanny I'm documenting and keeping everything. I'm not above blackmail or a little timely extortion.
xD
*hears "backmail and extortion" enters chat*
Right on cue.
Happy New Year Numbers!

Please to share your response to said dillweed.....
Honestly, I wouldn't respond at all. I'd just cc him on whatever, but not respond directly to him. It seems unlikely that any response, no matter how brilliantly crafted by the finest authors chat has to offer, will "put him in his place," or change his behavior in any way.
The ability to steer clear of office politics is as valuable a skill as being able to win them.
Huh.
Covert operations.

This is my strategy also. Actually, I keep to myself so much that I have no idea whats going on outside of my cube >.<

today sucks! my cat is probably dead and now we got word from our mechanic that he doesn't think fixing our jeep is worth the money...we have no money for a new one and our credit is still bad from when Bob was out of work. I know it will work out, but I am tired...really tired.

This is likely how I'd respond as well, as I said. However, IF you plan to send something, I think wording it that way is probably the way to go. Keeps your nose clean but lets him know you're aware of what he's doing.
I sat in a staff meeting yesterday afternoon and said that I would be late today because I had some personal issues to take care of. Then in plan earshop of everyone that had been in the meeting I asked a friend to meet me at the mountain bike trails at 7 am. Ooops! The trails are in great shape by the way.
Gee, thanks ***blushes***
