How to snare the guy

Quote  |  Reply

I have fallen for a guy at work. not like in love but like him very much.

WE have chatted over Msn/ Bebo etc and i speak to him occasionally at work (he works in factory, i work in office). He initiated getting together but then backed out. saying he was happier single.

How can i get him to like me again. Even just for a bit of fun. I have lost one dress size and im so muhc happier these (he even calls me smiler cuz im always smiling).

Im helping him get a business off the ground which kinda gives me an excuse to see him lol. but so far its been the odd flirting and a few cuddles. ( iwas really upset one day., not crying but he just cuddled me).

He likes him woman skinny skinny but ill never be like that anyway. but im hoping to show at our xmas party that curvy can work too., Im now a size 12! and im planning on the most amazing dress for xmas party and finally let my hair down, let him see the real me. He allready says im a good laugh, and we have stayed on phone for hours just talking about random stuff.

SOMEONE HELP.... How can i snare him?

Just dump the jerk.

I wouldn't do anything different than what you normally do.  When you start acting differently to "snag" a guy, you aren't showing him who you really are.  So, once you've "gotten" him, he might be disappointed when he finds out that you aren't really who you were putting out there before. It's a recipe for disaster.

So, be your awesome self, and let him fall for the real you.  If he doesn't, then it's not meant to be.  Tough, I know.

You can make a guy want you. You can make a guy like what they think they're getting. Both of these are recipes for disaster unless all you want is to play.

You can't make a guy like the real you. And, why would you want to?

Be yourself. You're allowed to like someone. If he isn't interested in coming off the single market, then don't pursue him.

A guy who is happier single can smell a girl who wants to snare him from a mile away. Let your hair down at the party, have fun, and who knows, some other guy who is willing could be snared.

Its funny, cause now that I have lost weigh certain guys at the gym are nicer. No thanks, I will stick to my bf who liked me when my BMI was 30.

Keep it real, is it bad to be friends?

Um, the OP clearly doesn't want to be just friends.  If she is willing to settle for that, then I guess that's for her to decide.

This. You can't make him be attracted to you or want to be with you.

I'm not a fan of playing games. However I do think it's important -- if he has any interest whatsoever -- that you not do the chasing. Make him think he is chasing you. For example, be too busy to talk to him next time he texts/calls/IMs you. Then a couple of days later, you do have time to talk with him. Don't be over the top about it, just don't be 100% available to him every time you hear from him.

Man! This deserves to be a chatquote.

No 'snaring'. Move on OP.

Maybe he is interested but is smart enough to know not to dip his pen in company ink.

SOMEONE HELP.... How can i snare him?

"Snare him"?  This is a person you're talking about, not a rare wild jungle animal.

If you really like him, don't play games.  Be who you really are, and let him make a real choice.

Jokes aside, 100% true don't play games.

A Week of Clean-Eating Dinners
I’m trying to give my eating habits a little cleanup these days. It’s easy to pay close attention to what I’m eating on the weekends when I’ve got tons of time on my hands to prepare delicious meals, but during the week when time is less available I feel the pull of convenience foods for their, well, convenience. Here’s what I try to live by when all I have is 30 minutes to prepare a "clean" meal.
