Its a blah day for me. I wanna be cuddled up in bed with DH :(. On the brighters side of today my right side of my face is finally feeling better and there is no more throbbing.

We had massive thunderstorms last night. At about 11:30 lightning struck so close that it thought it hit our house. I sat bolt upright in bed and hollered it scared me so bad.
I saw an incredibly interesting Wonders of the Universe on the science channel last night.
This little earth of ours really is a gorgeous hunk of rock.
Blueberry picking this weekend. W00T!

mmmm blueberries....i've been having my fill for the past week and a half :-) we broke into the pie last night, the crust tasted as great as it looked, i was very pleased
i remember seeing that advertised on tv, gator, and thinking i wanted to watch it but i completely forgot. i'll have to see if it's on repeat and try to dvr it.

Mmmm, pie. See, I'm torn. I have to make a gluten free dessert on Saturday, which will be key lime pie. Plus it's my birfday on Friday, which means cake. But I have to make a blueberry pie with the fresh blueberries!
I just don't see how I can justify 3 whole desserts in one weekend.

the first one is for an event, i'm assuming, since you're making it gluten free for someone elses needs? so that one doesn't really count b/c it's not like it's going to be eaten all by you and Dan.
then the cake doesn't count either b/c birfday cakes never count
and then lastly, they are fresh blueberries!!! this one actually counts as a dessert, but only 1/2 guilt associated with it b/c you are simply doing what the season demands.

From D I asked for a gumpaste tool set - whether or not he remembers to get it remains to be seen. My parents gave me the gas money so we could go up north last week, which was an awesome gift.

Yes, if I can foist the leftovers of the key lime pie onto the people I'm bringing it for, then I can possibly justify the blueberry pie. Of course, frozen blueberries make just as good a pie but that's not the point!
ugh...my assumption of my levels going up as a good thing was wrong. i really should have looked into things before i got all excited. doc wants to put me on the synthetic and retest in 6 weeks :-/
Frozen blueberries make a wonderful snack, all by themselves.
