I want to make my brother a CD with a whole bunch of songs on it regarding addiction recovery. He's a very music-oriented person, and also plays his guitar at the center where he is now.

I googled it, and got some suggestions, but some of the songs I don't feel are really on the track of the "recovery" part... some of the songs I found relate to addiction moreso than the actual recovery...

I'm looking for suggestions... here is what I have so far:

K's Choice - Not An Addict

Nickleback - Figured You Out

Keith Urban - Not My God

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

Seether- Fine Again

Thanks!

You Gotta Be - Des'ree

Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears
Stand up and be counted, don't be ashamed to cry
You gotta be
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, you gotta be wiser,
You gotta be hard, you gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, you gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day
Herald what your mother said, read the books your father read
Try to solve the puzzles in your own sweet time
Some may have more cash than you, others take a different view
My oh my heh, hey
You gotta be bad, you gotta be bold, you gotta be wiser,
You gotta be hard, you gotta be tough, you gotta be stronger
You gotta be cool, you gotta be calm, you gotta stay together
All I know, all I know, love will save the day
Don't ask no questions, it goes on without you, leaving you behind if you can't stand the pace
The world keeps on spinning, you can't stop it, if you try to
This time it's danger staring you in the face
Oh oh oh Remember
Listen as your day unfolds, challenge what the future holds
Try and keep your head up to the sky
Lovers, they may cause you tears, go ahead release your fears
My oh my heh, hey, hey

Gravity, A Perfect Circle

Lost again, broken and weary
Unable to find my way
Tail in hand, dizzy and clearly
Unable to just let this go

I am surrendering to gravity and the unknown
Catch me, heal me,
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live...

I fell again, like a baby
Unable to stand on my own
Tail in hand, dizzy and clearly
Unable to just let this go

I am surrendering to gravity and the unknown
Catch me, heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live...
I choose to live...
I choose to live...

Catch me, heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
Help me survive the bottom

Calm these hands before they
Snare another pill and
Drive another nail down
Another needy hole
Please release me...

I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live...
I choose to live...
