Ok, so geography and physics were never my subjects, but how can there BE so much rain? Even if the entire North Sea had evapourated and been poured right back down over the UK we couldn't have had this much rain in the last 3 months - so...um...where's it all coming from, then...?
I blame the politicians/bankers/aliens/spiders/my husband (take your pick!).
PS. It's sunny here, and my cat is outside boiling his head.
It was diverted from the US?
I mean, seriously - just send your stuff over here. Today in STL alone it will be getting up to 107, with no relief or rain in sight for at least 2 weeks, and the southwest is doing much worse.
My poor lawn is frying as I type.

I was in Fla. acouple weeks ago and it rained 2 days while I was there and storm lately. what we wouldn't give for the rain. 2 fires today because it dry and people are careless. Going to be 108 tomorrow. recording setting heat. I miss the snow.
The weather's too damn hot.
Scotland currently cut off from the rest of the UK by rail due to torrential rain causing land slides near berwick... This weekend's Cub Scout camp looks like turning into a swimming party...
Some idiot in my office was "missing the ice & snow" this morning. Frak that. I'd rather have it hotter than hot than deal with ice & snow.
Ugh. I can't stand people that complain every freaking season! (see your "Heat" thread).
