Study claims: "Look at cute animals, be more productive!"
In a new development that I'm sure will have many, many people here very happy indeed, it turns out that looking at cute animals has measurable positive effects across-the-board in job performance.
So if you, say, watched this video you might just get that promotion you were after.

So does having an animal such as a cute lab in the office.
It's crazy what simple things will drive productivity up.
I know I love it when my puppies come up to the office for a visit. Does it make me a more efficient worker? Hard to say, but then I'm not doing a study on it...

i don't care how cute it is, let it bite you a couple times and tell me you don't want to punt it.
flippin' shih tzus. it's always a shih tzu. (in other news, its eyes went in different directions and it was cute as hell, when it wasn't a flurry of saliva and teeth.) and since i didn't have any way to muzzle it, it took up additional appointment space, which is not conducive to a productive environment.

I've been looking at pictures of cute baby animals to make myself feel better for ages. I've even mentioned it in these forums several times.
I just go to google images and think of a baby animal I want to see - it's often baby bunnies.
Then when I look at them, I feel soooo much better and then I get all my work done.
I'm nomo of cc and I approve this scientific study.

Betcha when you see that shihtzu, it inspires you to work particularly quickly to get it back out the door again, doesn't it?
