Good morning chatters, visiters and lurkers.

This morning we have breakfast pizza,  thin crust, scrambled egg, tomato, peameal and sharp cheddar.

Side of fruit salad and some hummingbird muffins

coffee is on.  You know where the kettle is if you want tea.

Marmalade is a mite off-putting. I like the orange flavor, it's the rinds that sort of bug me. Purely aesthetically.

Good snacking stuff today.  Bought another thing of navel oranges yesterday and a pound of strawberries from the fruit stand up the road.

I like scones served with a great deal of butter.

I'll eat dead festering *wiener mash* if it's served with a great deal of butter.

Take a numbah......

I'd like to buy a vowel

^ Must search for marmalade recipes.

*admits to hating marmalade*

i love having orange marmalade with cream cheese on an english muffin.  maybe not as "fancy" as a scone, but gosh darn it, it's good!  and much easier to attain :-)

I always learn new ways to nomify english muffins in here!

Your language, Ma'am!

I've had some marmalades that are waaaaaay too bitter.  They're probably the most traditional version, but sometimes authenticity sucks.  I like marmalade with a little bite that's balanced well by sweetness.

apologies...

A friend of ours made some cinnamon jelly and gave us a couple of small jars.  Haven't tried it yet, but it smells so good.

Hmmm...if I am a good friend, I will make sacrifices for another friend, right?

Is that the definition of a good friend, BB?

Am I wrong to object to someone posting pictures of abused puppies on Facebook?  They didn't abuse them, they're posting them as a way to speak out against abuse.  Their heart is in the right place, but still...

Depends on the sacrifice.

I didn't share the pic on my page, but I did change my avatar to mah puppy.

It perpetuates the abuse, imo.

Trying to duplicate a friend's favorite baseball park treat since she won't be here when the ball park is open?

My friend K is coming back up from Georgia in June but it will be right before the park opens.  She loves their pulled pork nachos.  And she's been a bit down lately. I thought of making a homemade attempt at them this weekend and sending her pics on FB to tell her we'll have a pig out feast on them with beer when she gets here.

It's fairly easy, but a caloric bomb.

Yeah, apparently it's making its way around FB.
