I rest my case. ;P
Seriously though, and forgive me if I'm using the wrong terms, but apparently there are multiple ways a person can get paid by making economic predictions. Don't actuaries also do things like value stocks, etc?
Truth be told, to become an actuary I'd have to re-visit calculus for the first time since I was an undergraduate.
I googled and landed on a sample test for certification.
Yikes.
I hate Math and all his evil minions, including Calculus. Calculus is a douche.

Tuesday we had a debrief with a Government contingent reporting the results of our development efforts on a particular system. The work we've done has been very sucessful.
The Government guys came up with 150 more tasks, none of which bring us any closer to fielding an improved weapon.
That's the difference between them and us. We want to make the weapon and field it. They don't want to kill the project.
Yep, LTEA

...or, I'd imagine, any associated jobs. :/
zactly....I don't fault them for it. It's a survival instinct but we are on the same team and our objectives seem at odds.Well, what about your own company? When you complete the project, do you downsize?
Completion of this project would mean moving into production, increased sales, capital equipment, more employees, bigger bonus, wins all around. This assumes we have an improved product to offer.
Ah, I see. :) So...probably, what, stretching it serves their purpose with regard to their budget?* Does the government still end their fiscal year in October?

The stuff I listed above would be good for us. Going into production means an end to this project for the Government guys. Yes October 1 marks the beginning of FY13. Many of their projects may already have funding in place for FY13.

But it also means closing out the project, writing project report, enduring project achievement review.
hmm...
Buckimus,
Can you put diamond checks on the lower part of the grip but then switch to vertical grip strips on the slide but keep the top rail ready for red dot sight . A top vent port to keep the muzzle down would be nice but that shouldn't be in the way of the silencer if I want to put it on. Find a way to put an attachment port for quick snap of laser & light combo.
Oh...
You don't mean our project.
Never mind.
Gotcha, Kev. Forgive my dullness, I'm *still a mite wooly-headed.

Morning peeps.
So far I see fake food offered for breakfast, and it's free therefore by the logic offered we are unable to pertake of it anyway because that would sway our chat judgment (Not goin'get very far with powdered eggs)
Doc needs to replace his entire executive management with some more in line with his pov.
Kevin needs to figure out a way to convince the government to go into production of widgets, which means he needs one of 2 things: another war, or to insist his comapny needs a bail out.
Hope everyone else is doing well today :)
Still no booking for the weekend. Americans (vast overgeneralization offered today) are crazy btw. (not you guys obviously ;), although maybe some of you)
In Europe as the date of departure looms flights drop to rock bottom prices on the basis that any money to offset paying for the jet that's already flying is good. In the US prices skyrocket on the basis of: we're all crazy and would rather go bankrupt than give you a deal???????
Vegerotica.
I never want to be this dependent on anything, ever again. Just sucks.

Had something really ranty here. Suppose it's better placed in my journal.
Last night I watched a couple cop/detective shows.
Sheesh, I didn't know that cops and FBI agents are issued sub MOA pistols and all shoot better than Annie Oakley.

Wow, we've made the jump from subtle innuendo quickly this morning.
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
