Morning all...sorry I wasnt around yesterday - BUSY day at work, plus I wasnt feeling so hot. How is everyone?

We got a fancy scale that records your gains & losses.  Since we've had it, I've been paying closer attention to what I put in my pie hole.  I have lost 3.8 pounds since Sunday!

WHAT?  How the heck did you lose 3.8lbs in 4 days?  Go you!  and I'll just post here...

 

5 medium sized potatos-peeled cut into quarters

1 medium sized onion if fresh chives on in season use 12 of those cut up into small pieces.

2 cloves of fresh garlic pressed in a garlic press. If you prefer garlic salt then you can use 1 tsp of that instead.

6 chicken bullion cubes(add at the very end of cooking stage)

1 carrot minced

2 stalks of celery finely chopped

enough water to cover all of the above with an extra 1inch or so above the veggies.

bring to a boil then put to a medium heat for about an hour. mix everything in the pot with a mixer it will be hot so be careful=) You dont want things to be completly smooth just mixed up enough so you dont have large chucks of potato. You also add 1/4 cup of milk while mixing. Put the pot back on the stove on low heat. Add your salt and pepper to the pot as much as you like to taste. Now you add your boullian cubes. Let simmer 15 mins keep stirring every few mins. If the broth is not thickened add a few tbs of flour to 1/4 cup of water to make a paste and add slowly into your soup whisking briskly while doing so. put on warm heat. Then you are ready to put your soup into the bowl. On top you add the shredded cheddar cheese first I add as much as I like in one bowl of soup which is normally just a couple tbs of cheese. Then I dollup on just reg french onion dip thats bought for chips and I add a few reg chips broke up on top of that.

I know this is all jumbled together but im in a hurry haha so hopefully you can translate this recipe.

I have been watching both calories and carbs and I eat absolutely nothing after 7pm.   

 

OOps I noticed a huge TYPO in my recipe its only 4 boullian cubes not 6 thats what happens when you type lightening speed!

 Good for you Chrissy!  I swear my weight NEVER changes...even when clothes fit differently and I look different...I just can't understand it...lol o well!

That's how I've been Kiki! I was gonna try to get to 130, but I think my body just want to be at 135 lol
Yeah but you've lost a ton of weight before that though...right?  I just don't ever move...I think I weighed the same in HS
MIssy I have 30plus pounds more than you and at 169 my body is also acting like it likes to be here> I have tried all the ups the downs the cycling cals the this that and the other things you can do. Nothing makes it budge much anymore I only rarely lose about 1lb a month now its slow going for sure at this point. The only thing that has helped me to even lose the 1lb per month is the cycling of my cals and how I eat them weekly. Yikes maybe im just meant to be pleasantly plump? I never used to be this way shoot I was 120lbs after having my first child and you couldnt even ever tell I had a baby=( Now it looks like im storing a kid in here..........
All of the weight I lost was baby weight, but right now I probably weigh the same as I did in HS too. I think I've always been 135-145 for as long as I can remember
This whole aging with a slowing metabolism thing really sucks! lol I ate like a pig throughout HS without working out and I didn't gain weight ever
