I dont care if my place looks smaller...I'm already crabbing about the high ceilings.

Im having south beach wraps again - Im sucha lazy bitch. And a big apple =)

I didn't necessarily mean going with a less bright color...I meant a lighter shade of the same color...same brightness just not as dark...You know?  Like a lighter version of that green color (they do have it in lighter shades, I checked) and the blue you chose as an accent color on one or two of the walls :)

Anyway, you've got to like it since it's where you live so don't listen to me if you don't like the idea :)

Ok, well in answer to your original question then, I would go with two connected walls rather than parallel ones. :)

Its your place, so youre the one who has to be happy with it. I would recommend checking with the landlord about painting it back to the orginial color when you move out. I had to paint over turquoise and purple in one apartment and it was a pain in the ass.

see to me a yr just isnt worth the effort into all this painting and renovating.........if you were going to live there longer than by all means but you said maybe a yr well hell thats not that long to invest in a bunch of painting and such.........

i wonder if with some of those cold style wraps if you could heat them up to make them taste a bit different i kinda dont like the cold wrap sandwiches

I am trying to resist the oodles of sweets here in our suite at work. It's my coworkers bday. And of course all these bitches bring in donuts, coffeecakes, brownies and such. I brought triscuits and hummus. LOL

I just can't stand ugly white walls and sloppy painting pisses me off...they didn't even bother to take the hinges off and the baseboard has dribbles
