*sets out chocolate cupcakes, Sun Chips, Luna bars, and Laughing Cow cheese wedges*  That's all I've got.

*fires spitballs at the barista*

Somebody better find something that requires celebration today or I'm blowing Tuesday up.

I am buying a cake today.   Is that good enough??

We are going to a dinner party tomorrow. I volunteered to bring desert.  Dh doesn't want me to bake a cake.  He want to buy something "really nice."  I was all set to make a texas sheet cake, chocolate deliciousness..

Texas sheet cake is frickin' delicious.  I'd rather eat that than store bought cake.

Morning peeps,

I live in Texas and have never heard of Texas sheet cake. How can this be?

It's Albert Schweitzer's Birthday.

Let the celebration begin.

Spent most of the night trimming off spiritual dead wood. What better days I am going to have!

Have a great day Chatters!

I'll be back later.

x1000

My mother did them all the time.. I found the exact recipe online.  Easy, scrumptious, makes a big cake... I have made them too.  I love the fact that you melt the stuff in a kettle water, cocoa and margarine..

And the frosting goes on while the cake is still hot.  No fuss with the icing..

But we will buy a cake.

I spent most of the night dreaming about a hole in our house, and things crawling up from the basement.

Maybe your mom never made one..  the recipe..

I think the name is because it makes a big jellyroll pan of cake.. big like Texas.  Of course, the pieces resemble brownies.  They are easy to serve too.. and love to have ice cream on top.

Good morning, though it might as well be noon since I arose just before 5 am.

my sleep has been so interrupted and restless lately.  I'm not happy.  One would think that with the amount of yoga I did this weekend, I would sleep like a baby.  I had an extremely disturbing nightmare as well (might have been another night, but they all seem to blur together).  Basically, I was crying hysterically because someone sexually assaulted my dog.  There was other crazy **** going on, but the dog abuse is the most memorable aspect.

Don't make me look it up, what's a texas sheet cake?

Is that a metaphor?

*grabs some Sun Chips and settles in*

Yesterday I  picked out a cabin for our cruise... I checked the pre cruise hotel and now I am worried about our dog.  We have never had her in a kennel down here.  :(

morning all

Possibly... I don't often recall dreams.  But that one was realistic.  I was even worried about sleeping on my side of the bed because the hole was behind my nightstand.  I slid over all the way to Dhs side, so the nasties wouldn't get me.

Is it just the restlessness that makes you unhappy?

Or is this a statement of your feelings in general?

In PA we have a four poster.  One night, I thought the post on my side was an angry ostrich ready to attack.  I woke up Dh and told him not to move, that the ostrich was standing there.

I was so scared.

My sleep has been stupid lately. And for about a week, I've been waking up to dreams of writing stories. Like constructing dialogue and plot lines in my dreams.

I am so effing weird.

A chocolate cake made in a jelly roll pan.. With chocolate icing that you put on when it is hot so it melts smooth.  Almost like cake brownies..

Most recipes involve either sour cream or buttermilk.
