I hate that song and now you must all share my earworm.

*pulls hot, crunchity, gooey, butterscotch monkey bread out of the oven; starts the coffee maker; scrambles eggs with bacon, potatoes, sour cream, green onions, and tomatoes*

Happy Today!

I've always been afraid of that happening.

My daughter eats frozen corn straight from the freezer. I guess I need to put a halt to that as well.

I don't know how I survived my childhood.  I used to eat frozen hot dogs after school every day.  I never thought a meat popsicle could harm me.

It would make for an odd obituary: "The cause of death of the deceased, also known to her CC friends as Pavvy, Pavvycakes and Pavs, was the ingestion of a frozen hot dog."

(And as I was typing "dog" I mis-typed it as "dong." LOLOLOL!)

better that then saying she asphyxiated on a meat Popsicle.....

Monkey bread!

A wodge of this would go over a treat with your customers, I'd think.  You could even do it in little individual bundt pans!

Thanks pavy and clg!

This reminds me of chelsea bread...

Off to a meeting. Later!

I'm a hungry, hungry hippo today.  The first few days of a new eating plan are always rough.  I just have to keep in mind how wonderful it would be to start a new job another 5-10 lbs. down, feeling confident, and with clothes that fit better.

The pool is open! The pool is open!!

The pool is an indoor pool and it has been closed for a year due to the government penchant for the lowest bidder.  It all started with an acid wash in which the bidder failed to inform anyone that once you do an acid wash you have to regrout.  So then they had to regrout (going through the bidding process again).  Of course that had problems with the 60 year old filtration system which then had to be replaced and yet another bidding process.

And now the pool is open.  I iz excited!  I will also be there for lap swim at 11 today.

*glares at clock, willing it to move faster*

If the government didn't go with the lowest bidder, there would be outrage somewhere.

I <3 lap swimming!  Hope you have fun!

Heh.

Last night's dream: 2 dudes that asked me out were suddenly struck with some sort of cardio-vascular attack. One had a stroke, the other had a heart attack.

My subconscious is being ridiculously obvious. The funny thing is that I woke up pissed off at messaging.

The only part of last night's dream I remember involved Johnny Depp as my teacher.  He wouldn't leave me alone so I could go to the bathroom.  I woke up having to pee like a racehorse.

Heh, when I dream of having to go to the bathroom I had better get the heck up and go!!!

Ok. What is monkey bread. What is butterscotch monkey bread.

I had a dream I had to save two random partygoers from a panther and a leopard in my grandparents house because I threw a party for a load of random people while they were on holiday. And I guess, there were leopards around?

Dynacat you just reminded me about the pool they closed here to build a new one about 7 years ago, but still has not been reopened, I will find a new pool!

Also I need to change my attitude you guys.

No wait, I want monkey bread. Unless it's a trick thing. That I dont want.

***drags self out of the pit that is her work day***collapses on Chat couch*** noms monkey bread ***

my cinnamon sugar craving has not been satisfied. :/

***reads back***  (((TB)))   Daddy is just worried, honey.  He loves you and wants you and baby to be safe, secure, loved and cared for.

Morning heat!

Monkey bread is not a trick, although it is often a stumbling block.

Hmmm, my temp seems to have disappeared.  I told her to take a break while I checked out her work and it appears she left the building.

*shrugs*

*mists the ficus*

Not All Processed Foods Are Created Equal
Fact: a diet containing whole, fresh fruits and vegetables is one of the best for a healthy mind and body. Although true, it can be hard to keep food fresh at home for longer periods of time, and if you have no time to shop every few days, boxed and canned foods become appealing. We often hear about heavily processed frozen dinners and processed foods worth avoiding, but there are minimally processed foods that do pack a lot of nutrition and may be worth having in the fridge or cupboard.
