So, basically, it was just a cut and paste job. I guess that could work, I'm just not sure it would be functional.

And is it ok to just cut it, or would there be some legal issues?

At the top of your computer (Edit) you choose Special characters. Then choose Accented Latin. You will find what you need.

I'm on a Mac. Find your Special Characters up top. Would yours be in Tools? Mine is in Edit (with undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, delete, find, find again, select all,  & special characters)

try going into start menu/all programs/accessories/system tools/character map

It should show you a bunch of funky letters to copy and paste.

I don't have to copy & paste I just insert whatever symbol I need, wherever needed.
