I didn't really know where else to put this, but I just registered for the "Run For Your Lives" zombie race. It's a 5k run full of obstacle courses and, oh yeah, you're being chased by the running dead.

I'm so excited!

Here's the link to their website if anyone wants to see more.

The only sucky part is that I have to wait till October. ;___;

Damn them for not doing this anywhere near where I live!!!

That looks like a blast.  October seems an appropriate month for this.

Have fun!

OMGOSH SO AWESOME!

Road trip to CA in October?!   :)

Aw, are all you guys on the West Coast? I'm on the East Coast, smack dab in the middle, so my choice was a little easier. I would say if you need to road trip, then road trip! My friend and I are making it a girl weekend...a hardcore, bloody girl weekend, anyway.

My son is signed up for the one June 23 in Indiana. He is taking some of his friends with him. they can't wait.

Oh my gosh that looks super fun! There are a similar things here over summer I think, ones a city race with checkpoints, and zombies! Gotta get good at outrunning zombies!

This sounds totally epic!!!!

Considering the Boston RFL. I wish it were after my first 5k but meh...

I thought this was about the exercise/silly fun Android game called Zombie run. I heartily recommend it and it's free!

Brainz! :D

There was 1 in STL and one in Indy.  I was considering doing the STL one... but that's still like a 4 hour drive from you.

I'm further north/west from the city, so it would take about 5 hrs and 15 minutes.   Not ruling it out though.  I might drive 5 hours and 15 minutes to be chased by zombies.     :)

FUN!    I might have to find a way to do this.

DH and I did the inagural RFYL in Maryland last year and it was a BLAST.

We had done Warrior Dash a couple of times, but having the zombies in the mix was awesome.

We're signed up for the MD race again this year too.

ETA:  My avi is now a photo DH took of me last year.  Sometimes there were WAY more zombies than this.  I was getting ready to end the "blood bath" uphead - basically a waist deep pool of red water.  And cold for October.

I'll have to see how I fair in the Rebel Race before I consider another one.  It looks like a lot of fun though.

You must buy the Zombie Run app for your phone. It's awesome. If you run with an ipod on, that is.

You won't run the whole time, thanks to the obstacles. And the zombies.

Short burts of speed are helpful for zig-zagging away from them.

I'm going to the MD one too! It's cool to hear that it's gotten such great feedback. Even if you live farther away, I think it'd be worth it to drive. I live 4 hours away from the place in Maryland.

Gonna wear my "Team Dixon" shirt and try not to pee my shorts.

Also, I don't have a smart phone, so no app for me. :(

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
