Trying to gain muscle? I wanna know :)

I lift 4 days a week, 1 day crossfit, and I need to switch from cutting to bulking! But don't want to lose my abs, so it's a mental block! Haha. :) Also got IBS so hard to eat sometimes.

You guys?

Try lifting heavier weights..usually lifting light weights cut you up lifting heavier makes you bigger....it works for me

I lift as heavy as I can for the rep range (as in if I go higher I won't make it), and then rest pause until I can't do it anymore, period. Dorian Yates style baby :)

Plus that's a bit of a myth, some grow better on high reps, and some people can cut up better doing 5x5. It's all about diet.

Are you taking the same quantities of drugs as Dorian Yates? if not what makes you think that his training style (if that is his actual training style) is appropriate for you?

As well as lifting heavy, instead of isolating your muscles on machines use more free weight compound movements.

Nothing to do with steroids. It's all about overloading, the only way to build muscle. It has been practiced effectively by many bodybuilders. The type I'm doing is DY-based (Marc Lobliner's Machine Training Solutions "BLAST" training)

I do a variety of exercises. See the pdf: http://www.machinemuscle.com/fat-loss-factor- 12-weeks-body-ever/ on the exercises pages.
