Are there any foods that specifically cause you to gain in the stomach?

Because I basically have a boy's body (*stabs self*) I want to avoid gaining weight in my midsection.  i don't normally gain there first, but someone told me reently that some foods specifically cause you to gain in the midsection, even if that's not where you gain first.  Is this true?  And are there any foods that cause you to gain in your breasts/butt/arms/legs instead?

Where you gain fat is genetically predetermined. One type of food isn't going to magically cause you to gain fat in one place and not the other. Extra calories get converted to either muscle or fat (or both) and the fat goes to where it is most predetermined for your body type.

Now, if you wan to gain weight and avoid storing fat around the midsection, I would suggest looking into a resistance training program. Resistance training can stimulate muscle growth while you're gaining weight. Those extra calories will go towards building muscle. I would suggest consulting with a fitness professional so they can set you up with a program that is appropriate for your goals and fitness level.

Edit:

And I also want to add. If you're a woman, that means you have a woman's body. There's no wrong way to have a body. If that's you in that picture, you're beautiful and definitely not boyish in the least.
