Do you add in the extra calories from your workouts?

So we have a set goal on how many calories to eat right. When you workout and you burn those extra calories do you add them back in at the end of the day, or do you not count them and just stick to you goal? Thanks in advance for sharing your answers! Cool

Some people say if you are looking for weight loss you should add back half of what you burn from exercise.

Another way to do it is to look at your total expenditure for the day and subtract whatever you want your deficit to be (250, 500, 750, etc) and eat that.

Thanks! I was wondering, because CC will show you the cals. and it looks like you can add them in. I think I will see what happens if I don't add them in. Thanks again!Laughing

I haven't been adding them back. I feel of I do then what's the point of working out? But then again I could be wrong.
idk what most people do but i have set to eat 1200 calories a day and then i try to work off 400 of that but then i dont eat anymore. muscle is very important to have ive been reading and when you get older you'll be skinnier. good luck!

As for me, I don't eat back the calories I burned, I managed to eat within 10% of my calories limit and workout to create the deficit in my net calories. Maybe I could be wrong but I feel stronger after each work out and weight still keep going down in a reasonable rate
