How do I add my tagged foods to make a recipe from them?

Quote  |  Reply
Well....the title is basically  my question. I hate adding in everything i use to make and put in my salad separately. I'd like to make recipes for foods i eat often so i can add one recipe instead of 5 separate tagged foods. Anyone know how to do this? I'm vegan and a lot of the foods I eat are not listed on the search so I add in all the nutrition on my own and this is mostly why I'd like to use my own tagged items over searched databased items

go to the recipe section.    Under "new recipe" write your recipe.  Analyze it and  name it and tag it from there
I know how to tag it but since I use items that they can't find on their list my nutrition is incomplete. What I'd like to do is add already tagged items into my recipe because i added them in myself and they have the proper nutrition values.

At this time the Recipe Analyzer is unable to recognize custom items - the ones you put in yourself.  You can tag groups of items using the same tag and then add the entire group.  when you tag them under one name, such as "pie recipe", and look over to the right side of your tagged screen, you'll see a little arrow next to the tag name.  Click on the arrow and add the entire group.

I'm sorry I can't be more help.  The Analyzer is a work in progress, but I don't see the programing problem of adding custom items to be solved any time soon.  If you need help entering recipes, feel free to PM me.
