I was just wondering what everyone 

who's 5'8" weight loss goals are. 

My goal weight is 135, maybe more/less depending how I look =]

Well as a guy i'm going for 155 right now and then when I am down to that I want to build up to around 180 with less than 10% body fat.

I'm looking at about 155 or 160.  I have a larger framed body - no way could my fingers ever overlap around my wrist.  I want to be realistic and find a weight that is healthy and fairly easy to maintain.  Currently sitting at about 205lb so that ideal weight still looks a long, long way off!

i'm 5'8" and my goal is also 135.  i've been stuck around 140 for a long time now.

Ah pgeorgian, that's how I feel too! I've been at 150 (or like 152/153) for the past 3 weeks, it's so frustrating!! I mean, I understand that there will be plateaus, but DAMN!

 

Hopefully once I break this plateau, which I think I'm starting to do (!!), then I will lose another 6 -at least- pounds before hitting my next plateau, which is inevitable I'm sure

Girl, don't get discouraged!! I started at 208, it's totally possible and you will gain so much confidence and self-esteem along the way!

I am a perfect size 6, with no bulges of fat at 130-135.

When I go under 130 I'm really to skinny. I am at 145 right now(size 8)  and I have been trying to lose the last 10 forever!!! I look pretty good at 145, so maybe that's why I keep falling off the diet bandwagon
i have an athletic build. i'm at 155. my goal is 140..maybe 135, depending on how i look and feel.

I'm somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9"... My goal is 150lbs. I've never been tiny. I was actually pretty happy when I was at like 170, so I'm thinking 150 will be fantastic. I'm at 210ish right now, so it's gonna be a while... Blah.

I'm 5'8" and currently 139 (I was 152 last September).  Finally fitting back into my size 6 jeans.  Would like to lose another 5-8lbs at the most.

Maybe somewhere between 125 and 133 because I have a small frame. I was 140lbs a while ago (I'm 148 right now) and I was still chubby back then.

I'm shooting for 140 then I'll re-evaluate, started at 210, now only twenty lbs to go.

I'm aiming for 133lbs, but that's just a number- I'm more likely to go by how I look and feel. Currently 137lbs

i am 5'8 to 5'9, medium frame, aiming for 140, but 133 would be nice too, will see how it goes. started at 262 in january, now  at 224

Around 126 lbs I guess. I have a really small frame though.

I'm 5'8" and just hit 138 :)  I fit into a size 4 pant (someplaces a size 6).  My goal is 130 and I feel SO close since I started at 180!

Ah I kinda wanna be super super skinny, but then I would lose my curves, and that would NOT be cool! I'm thinking 135, but judging from all these responses it really just depends on the individual body.. I look pretty damn good as it is, but I can't stop now!! I'm so so close..

My goal is to be 140 by July, because at the end of the month I'm going to Bermuda for 2 weeks (holla!) and will literally be living in my bikini for the whooooole time and need to be hot n confident (and not just when I've been drinking, haha)

I've been going to the gym everyday or every other day, and doing at least 45 minutes of cardio (mostly running but I also just discovered the amazing/much hated Stairmaster, which kicks my butt after about 5 minutes!) and I just started taking this medicine that is an appetite suppressant (no, it's not like a crazy ADD/meth-like medicine) so I've been eating less -but still getting a healthy amount of calories- so AHHHHHHH I will make it to 140 by July, come hell or high water!!!!!

I'm 5'8" and I want to lose about 70 pounds- get down to 100 pounds :D

100 lbs at 5'8 will look absolutely disgusting. good luck with that!

i'm 5'8, currently 138. i've been bouncing from 136-142 for over a year now. i'd love to get to 130, especially for the summer, but i really think my body likes it just where it is. i eat what i want on the weekends, go out drinking etc and have maintained so far.

i suppose the extra walking i'll be doing as the weather warms up might help me kick the last pesky pounds. i'm trying to just be happy either way!
