Anyone 5'7 and between 180-185 pounds?

I was just looking for someone around my goal. I am 5'7 and today 182.4 pounds & would like to be 145lbs. Just wondering if anyone cares to do this with me?

Hi, I'm 5' 6", 191 lbs, so I guess I'm pretty close.  I'm shooting for about 115 or so, I'm a really small frame so my goal weight may change depending on how I look when I get down around there.

I'm 173.5 right now and want to get down to 150 - when I get there if I can keep on track and lose a bit more.......... great......... but I'd also be happy at 150 :)

I think we're a pretty good match.  I'm  5'7" and currently 176 lbs.  I started a weight loss program about 1 1/2 weeks ago and have lost 2.5 lbs so far. I'm 35 and my goal is to get down to 145 within 5- 6 months.  I've put myself on a 1400 calorie a day program and have started exercising again.  I'm really excited to start feeling/seeing a difference in my clothes.  Good luck!

Hi!  I've got very similar stats to you.  Currently 180.6 pounds and 5'7''. Looking to get down to around 147 pounds, but want to be around 160 for November (I'm off on hols and would so love to be able to wear something other than an unflattering one piece!)  Currently needing lots of encouragement to do this as (bless him) my other half doesn't really understand struggling with your weight as he's still trim at 42!  Feel free to add me to your friends list and maybe we can help each other out when the going gets tough!Smile

I'm 23, 5'7 and 191.4 right now. I am down from 213.  my goal weight is 150 (a healthy BMI).  I have acatally been having some motivation issues and need a good support group.  Feel free to contact me Laughing

same here. I am 20 years old. 185lbs and 5"6. I just discovered this site today, im hoping it helps, i used to be a size 3 never weighing over 125lbs ever, ive gained weight and have had a very very hard time dieting. its only been 3 days without messing up so far, and thats the longest i have ever went

As of today I have similiar stats to you!! Just lost another pound to reach 185lbs!! I'm 5ft6 though. Started at 203lbs on 15th June, so doing good so far.

My next goal is to get to 164lbs, which is the weight i was when i joined this site in March 2007 (before i put on like 40lbs in 3 months!!! eek!!). Then i would like to get to 154lbs cause then i would be classed as normal and no longer overweight.

My ultimate goal would be about 136lbs as that was a good weight for me. But really i would be happy anywhere between 136 and 160. this site has been great and the support has definately helped me keep on track.

it will be good to be able to talk to people in a similiar situation!! :-)

Hi! I'm 5'7" and 200 pounds. I just started on cc. Yesterday was my first day logging my food. I love this site. My goal is 145.  I've started running again and doing some strength training. I feel great already and can't wait to be someone that can say I'm 180 again! :)

I've been "running" if you want to call it that. And it's been going good. I had two off days this week and biked a little with my kids in a trailer. Funny I used to think biking was fun and easy! Wow. CC has really helped me to not impulse eat. I stop and think... "then I'll have to figure out how many calories are in that handful of chocolate chips or leftover casserole!" So I just have a glass of water or cup of tea or yogurt!

How have you all been managing or not?

I've lost and gained the same 5 pds over the last 2 weeks.  Considering my duathalon is in 6 weeks I better get my crap together.  I'm going to lose 3 pds this week and NOT gain it back the following week!

 That's exactly where I started and I say my height is 5'7' but....hmmm I might be slightly shorter!  My weight is down to 185 now (but for some reason it keeps going up 3/4 pds)  At my smallest I was 145 and people told me I was too thin!  My body liked 160 and I was a size 10/11.  I'd like to get to 145 also.  How long has it taken you to get to this size?
