I have weighed more in the past, but this is new: Underwear rolls down, is uncomfortable and makes me feel worse.

I've tried all sorts of styles. I'm a 12 in pants/8 in dresses, but an XL in underwear. WTH? Anyone else have this problem. I still blame taking the Depo Shot, because I have NEVER collected fat the way I do now.

This has to stop.

I have lost 71 lbs. my belly fat and boobs have been the "last to go". Just be patient.

I have excess belly fat, and I never had Depo.  I blame menopause.

Ugh. I just hate the way it feels. I wish I could go without underwear, but then I'd have worse problems...

I don't quite understand. Your underwear rolls down? Are you wearing high waist granny panties or something?

belly-button high, bikinis, thongs...you name it. My belly sits on top of them.

like a muffin top in pants...that's my underwear. I've tried Bali, VS, jockey...the best feeling is my DH's boxer-briefs and he HATES when I steal his undies so I have to keep it a secret.

I agree with oregonlakes. The fat will go at some point. I've read about (and recently experienced) this thing called a "fat whoosh." Yes, it sounds ridiculous. But, basically, the fat on your body that feels extra soft is the fat cells that have released most of their fat (for energy) and have been filled with water temporarily. Those extra squishy areas will be the next to go, seemingly overnight, once your body is ready to let go of the extra water weight. Don't quote me on it, though!

I don't know what a depo shot is, but if it somehow affected your hormone production, then I can see how it would affect fat placement. But again, don't worry too much, keep burning fat, and it will go away.

Good luck!!

I had to respond- I was on the treadmill the other day and kept feeling that my underwear were going to fall down! I was at the gym, thankfully not too many other people there to see me yanking my panties back up every couple minutes! I must have looked pretty strange...

I know exactly what you are talking about- I never had this issue before I had my child (and c-section),  Now I have a roll on my lower abdomen that is the most irritating thing.  I have found that high waist, high cut style panties work best for me, but sometimes there is just nothing you can do.  I find especially if I bend over to pick something up off the floor that is when the belly flops over the top.  I am just starting to lose weight, hoping that as everything gets smaller, maybe the roll will start to disappear.  Otherwise, I fear a tummy-tuck may be the only way to get rid off this.

Best of luck to you - I feel your pain Embarassed

OMG Blushing! I was just wearing a pair of capri pants this sunday and ALL DAY LONG I was pulling those suckers up. So irritating. Do you have a big butt like me, too, that you don't know what to do with? ;)

Only time I don't wear underwear is when I'm wearing tight running pants/capris. Otherwise...Um? How do I say this? It just gets uncomfortable.
